Mr Vathanan has been my gynaecology consultant for many years. This year he looked after me and my pregnancy. This pregnancy was filled with anxiety due to other issues previously. I came to see Mr Vathanan after the NHS failed to treat me correctly (for fibroids) and I was left with no answers and in crippling pain. From the first meeting I felt so assured and confident that Mr Vathanan will do everything he can cure me. This was the first time my husband had been able to be in the room with me whilst I was being diagnosed and he also felt the same trust for Mr Vathanan that I had. I would’ve been treated in less than 6 months from my initial meeting, but due to covid my surgery date was pushed back. However, during this time Mr Vathanan was available on email and phone and did his best in keeping me up to date on the hospitals opening. I have since had my surgery and my life has changed for the better. I cannot thank Mr Vathanan and his team enough. He is professional, caring and above all empathetic. Mr Vathanan is a legend! I’ve been under his care for Stage 4 endometriosis (and various other associated problems) for the past year or so and I honestly feel like I couldn’t be in better hands. Not only is my health better than it has been in a long time, he is so kind, caring and has gone above and beyond to ensure I have felt well looked after at all times.
