Absolutely great place loved it. Visited Friday 29th November. Isabella served us and was such a great server very knowledgeable and so fun. There where 2 new starters whose names i didnt catch but were great just as great especially considering it was there first night working. Was very reasonably priced and was great fun
Had a fantastic night out here. The atmosphere was electric, the music was on point, and the crowd was full of energy. It was the perfect place to let loose and have a great time with friends. The drinks were flowing, the dance floor was packed, and everyone was having a blast. If you're looking for a fun and lively night out in Bristol, I highly recommend
It's always such a pleasure to come to lounge, their time out Wednesday sports night is often the highlight of my week and I can't think of a better environment in which to boogie late into the night. Staff here are always really friendly and the music is always on point, especially when they open room 2! I'm a big fan of the photographer who goes round capturing some of our best moments here, thanks to them those memories can last a lifetime. A given in lounge is the infamous VK, one of my favourite nights here was the recent VK party during which VKs were just £1 (!!) and I managed to win some awesome free merch, that I now frequently wear with pride. If you haven't already, I cannot recommend visiting this club enough for anyone looking for a fun night in Bristol. I personally cannot wait for many more nights to come!
Lizard lounge is without a doubt my favourite club in Bristol. My mum used to go here when she was at uni, and following her rave reviews I just had to try it! I am there every week for the great music and atmosphere. I especially love it when room 2 opens, the vibes are always immaculate. There are always really great drinks deals available, and it’s hard to think of a night where I didn’t buy at least 2 VKs. Lizard lounge often invite special guests, and last week I had the pleasure of meeting my idol Cal the Dragon. That was probably my highlight of uni so far! I can’t wait for the many more fun nights this year in my favourite club that are still to come…
Big thank you to the security who were on duty on 24/03/23! My girlfriend had a seizure (she's epileptic and meant to be fine with flashing lights; turns out it was the caffeine in VKs). They were very understanding, helpful, and patient. It was a good night out as well before that!
I've waited over a month to post this review. Had a night out in Bristol early February. Was a fairly quiet night and our party (all men) got to Lizard lounge fairly early around 10ish. We paid the cover and went into a quiet Lizard Lounge. Stayed quiet for the next 30 mins so we asked the bouncers if we left and went to a pub and came back in a while if we'd get back in without paying cover or queueing again. They said yes and stamped us all before we left. Went to another pub 5 mins away and came back to Lizard lounge closer to midnight, maybe slightly after midnight. We all went up to the bouncers (same ones that told us we could go back in) and flashed our stamps and they stopped us and said 'sorry, management has said you guys can't go back in'. We didn't cause any trouble, argued a bit to no avail and then left. Extremely unprofessional of this establishment is all I have to say.
Great venue. Awesome DJ & welcoming staff..As a regular patron of Londons club scene I felt right at home at Lizard Lounge with its surprisingly diverse and vibrant entertainment. No better place to party in Bristol in my humble opinion. Recommend.
Enjoyable and fun night out… until the bouncers brought unnecessary action. Without a warning, they kicked us out. When we asked why they were kicking us out, they couldn’t even give a reason and instead sheepishly said ‘the manager has said’. If they could give a valid reason for kicking us out then that’s fair enough but they barged us out of the venue without a reason. It’s all on cctv. Other reviews on here show it’s not just us that has had this problem.
Decent club ruined by security. I got kicked out within an hour of arriving. I was shouted at and physically grabbed and removed by security claiming I'd been out to the smoking area with drinks 5 times which is entirely false and CCTV will confirm my story. I accidentally brought a drink outside to the smoking area and they forcibly removed me with no opportunity to apologize or explain. Security are simply on a power trip and do not deserve to work at a club
