Had an extremely terrible experience with the IAPT assessor. These people are not trained to deal with people suffering with complex trauma. It caused me more damage than good. Unfortunately due to my PTSD I am now afraid to open up to a therapist. I feel broken.

I want to say a huge thank you to RAff from Harrow Talking Therapies. He treated me with warmth, patience and real understanding β he always gave me time to talk and never rushed me. Because of his kindness and skill I was able to make real progress with my situation. He is the best therapist Iβve ever had and I canβt recommend him highly enough. Thank you, RAff, for making such a positive difference to my life.

Vinisha was fantastic in getting me to learn more about my condition Misophonia and more about myself. She worked diligently to set a personalised plan based on my life and I must say, although it's a lifelong work in practice, she made life-changing contributions and I'll be forever thankful :-)

I recently attended the βcalming the mind and enhancing inner wellbeingβ webinar which I found beneficial and helpful. I was invited as I had just completed my final counselling session. My therapist was very helpful and supportive, she was happy to reschedule appointments if I gave enough notice and I feel I benefitted from the service.

I used this service 2 years ago with a lady called Suzanne. The appointments were on time she was well informed, polite and was a good listener. However she cancelled my next appointment after only 2, and dismissed me (letter in post) without any prior discussion or agreement. It definitely felt like she didnβt care about the rapport, and had punished me for trying to reschedule the next appointment. It destroyed my ability to confide again or deal with my issues which had bought me there in the first place. Looking back, I wish I had the confidence to make a complaint at the time.

Sleep probs, anxiety probs, depression, as advertised on their website. Get referred, by Your Doctor, a friend, a heath professional. They do not want to know! They don't phone, email, send a letter. Might phone, then put phone down when you awnswer. The easy way out. They do not want clients, they too busy doing other things. Totally useless, biggest waste of time and tax payers money. An independent investigation needed into all mental health services in this country. NHS needs overhauling Now!

At first I spoke with a very nice lady but unfortunately due to a schedule change I had to rearrange my assessment call. I was booked with someone else. I wasn't aware that this call is 45 minutes long and large part of that is a questionaire that could have easily been sent prior to the call to save time. Apart from this the lady I spoke to sounded very bored, obviously reading a script and paid very little attention to what I said during the survey part as she kept asking me questions later that I've already spoken about or I felt like I expressed it to the best of my ability. But my main problem was how little interest her voice showed so after few times asking the same question I just hang up after 35 minutes being on the phone with her. I'd recommend if you could inform people about the length and nature of assessment before booking it so people can make sure they have enough time for. Having a very busy schedule and I'm sure I'm not alone, it would have been useful to know that when I schedule this in my lunch break I still get to have my lunch and have a few minutes before going back to work. This should be a priority at the service especially due to the opening hours (9-5).

Terrible ineffective and didnt help in my time of need. Ironically I wrote and asked them, no shamed to say begged them for help because things were so bad. I said I needed help. They didnt answer. They did NOTHING. the following week I fell off my bike in the muddle and stress that I needed help with. Absolute terrible people. There is one lady there who seems and behaves very polite but she is really nasty horrible and disgusting underneath. she doesnt even think she can help people herself. It is disgusting that these people get paid real money. they should be sacked. they need new caring good people not the disgusting load of cheaters they have there now. Please somebody look at how despicable the people who work here really are and start making some changed to this.
