Very disappointed as had many sessions over a long period and the benefit was very little as wasn't given any coping techniques, which is not what happens. Having had the session, I felt no different to when I started it. Basically was just a complete waste of money, £90.00 for 45 minutes, but is not what I'd say about all counsellors, just need to find the one that can help properly with the areas you are struggling with but this is no more than a friendly expensive chat. I had this impression early on, and my wife didn't think was working either, but continued hoping would be different. Could have saved several hundred pounds and tried an alternative counsellor.

I met Gail a few weeks ago to help with some issues I am going through with a divorce and dealing with my children. She was fantastic. From the first meeting I understood so much more and was able to really understand things clearly. She listens and with her vast experience puts things into context. What I also liked was that she was not pushy into booking follow ups. We talked and she assessed my needs and gave an honest evaluation of what was needed and in my case if was not every week. I have used a counsellor before and at the end of the session it was, right let’s book next week. I can’t recommend Gail enough. It was the best phone I made.

Gail helped our pre-teen son before his journey to high school. He was having some difficulty processing his emotions/angst and also working out what relationships actually meant and how to value them. My son felt more resilient and aware after his sessions over the summer and had a more realistic picture about life, the people around him and how this may/may not actually have anything directly to do with him. Really pleased we got on top of this at the time we noticed a problem so that he felt stronger and excited about his new journey.

Gail is so lovely and kind. She helped me through a tough time with gentleness and wisdom. She gave good advice and remains available for me to return for top-up sessions whenever I need them. I recommend her to everyone I know who struggles with life.

Gail is an amazing professional counsellor. My husband and I (my then boyfriend) had our couple's counselling sessions with Gail in 2012 after we'd been together for about 2 years. It felt like a real make or break time in our relationship. Gail was able to draw out the real underlying issues and had a knack for encouraging us to see our own part in what was going on. If it wasn't for Gail, I'm not sure if we would have stayed together. Not only that but we went on to have a wonderful marriage and 2 beautiful children, often the envy of our family and friends :)
