I highly recommend Dr Thomas Italiano. I visited Thomas over the course of around 5 months on a weekly basis to deal with child hood trauma that I had carried into adult life and was impacted my self and relationships. He is calm and understanding and takes the time to really understand you as an individual before helping you to implement easy, practical techniques to improve your quality of life.

When I first visited Dr Italiano's office I suffered from recurring freeze and "shutdown" responses that left me unable to tackle daily stress and life challenges (even some simple tasks were affected). The original intent was to tackle these, however after what felt like a long journey with ups and downs, my quality of life has improved considerably (and have grown/matured a lot through the process as well). Dr Italiano is very welcoming and friendly, the space has always felt very comfortable and safe. He has many skills, strategies and techniques under his tool belt which allowed us to be quite comprehensive in learning what may work or not. I'll be honest... it would be quite challenging to write a comprehensive review that would accurately communicate the positive impact Thomas made. To end the review with something cheesy... for the first time in my life feel like I'd finally be ready to be a dad if the opportunity came or if I wanted to, and feel grounded, confident and mature. Thank you Thomas! :)

First time in therapy and it has truely been a great experience. Thomas made me feel very supported and understood creating a safe space to explore difficult topics. I felt at ease in all my sessions and have seen many positive changes in my behaviour as a result of therapy. Highly recommend.

I met Thomas for the first time in 2018 as I was struggling with my mental health. Back then it was the first time I was seeing a phycologist, as I work in construction and mental health is a taboo in the construction industry. Thomas made me feel comfortable to open up about myself and my struggles. He has a calming way of guiding you through the obstacles you may face and the journey with him has been a pleasure. He has helped me evolve, tackle issues and change my way of thinking which has subsequently helped with my day to day activities whether these are at a professional or personal level. I’m still learning about myself and Thomas has been there for me along the way.

Thomas has been an excellent therapist and I couldn't be more grateful for his level of sensibility, guidance and wisdom. During the 11 months of therapy I have achieved more than I would have ever anticipated whilst also being equipped with a variety of tools to manage my every day life much better. Thank you Thomas!

Dr Thomas is one of the few who actually cares and relates to his patients. He helped me get through my breaking point and get back on my better self. A very genuine person with the right balance of being direct enough to wake you up on the situation you are in and taking things slow and explaining things in a way that is related to you and what you do. Words are not enough to thank this person for what he thought me.

I couldn't recommend Thomas highly enough. I have worked with him for almost a year now. Thomas is an excellent therapist, a brilliant coach and a great listener. We were able to build an instant rapport by leaning into our common experiences, culture and values. He comes across as someone who is genuinely interested in problems and has an uncanny habit of remembering intricate details of our discussions. He helped me to break down challenging problems, piece by piece, and work towards developing a better understanding. Thomas has coached me into taking better care of my mental health over the past year. He demonstrates considerable empathy, shares examples by leaning into his experiences and implores me to dive deeper into my thoughts and feelings. Thank you Thomas!

I can’t stress enough how wonderful it has been to work with Thomas - he really has had a huge impact on my well-being and life! I first reached out earlier this year as I had been struggling with anxiety and had been not feeling too good in myself and I could not recommend him more. From the beginning Thomas was super easy to open up to, patient and emotionally intelligent. He offers great insight, helpfully challenged me and is a fantastic person all round. He has given me tools to use going forward and I am now a lot kinder to myself. I’ve learned a lot about myself (and those around me) from Thomas and always really looked forward to my sessions with him. He clearly has a very good way of understanding his client’s style and adapting sessions to suit. If you’re reading this review, you are probably thinking about reaching out to him - absolutely do it. You won’t regret it.
