I visited Johno after a back injury, and he was fantastic. He took time to clearly explain the cause of my pain and created a personalized rehab plan. Within a few weeks, my mobility improved, and I was back exercising in no time. Highly recommend his professional and caring approach!

Johno is the best. Really listens to your issues and doesn't just opt for basic massage therapy by default like many therapists. He will tailor your treatment to you and work with you moving forward. Highly recommended

Johno is magical….Let me just start by saying that! I’ve seen him a number of times in 2025 starting with my shoulder/rotator cuff that I had been struggling with for a while that a well known private medical insurer group couldn’t get to the bottom of… and he successfully solved this along with other minor issues! I would highly recommend him!

I had an initial session with Johno after a recommendation for an arm pain that just wouldn’t go away, and a long term knee/hip issue. I immediately felt welcomed and listened too. After some explanations and gentle nerve stretching my pain was significantly reduced, and I left with a plan for my hip and arm. Would highly recommend to anyone on the fence about booking!

Just finished my session with Johno a few minutes ago and had to immediately write a review - because his knowledge, skill, and techniques - magical. I had issues with my lower back, shoulders, and neck. After an in depth chat and an explanation on his approach - I walked out with a significant improvement to my quality of life - pain free and with a greater range of movement. I can’t wait to book my next session.

I started seeing Johnathan when my old knee injury and back pain (office hours/screen/sitting/stress - pick your poison) started taking over my sleep. I was amazed how much he could change even with a single session and things can improve greatly if you give him time. We've been working for several weeks on getting rid of smaller and bigger problems and I could not be happier we've started it. What I very much appreciate is that Johno doesn't treat problems in isolation - his comprehensive approach helps me to understand how things are interconnected. He is also adjusting the therapy based on ongoing results and changes we both observe. I am not going to say he does magic simply because it is knowledge, skills, practice and his own experience put together in a very nice and approachable person. If I haven't mention - Johnathan is very nice and approachable person - you will tell him all your pains (literally!) before you know it...

I first went to see Johnathan two months ago with a persistent knee problem that had become a real nuisance. After our first session not only was my knee much improved, I also learned a lot about pain and started to realise that it is not necessarily an inevitable consequence of getting older. I have seen Johnathan several times now and the improvement to my everyday life is huge. As well as being a skilled and insightful practitioner, Johnathan is also a great communicator and listener; I have not always been comfortable in medical settings but Johnathan really makes it feel like you’re working on something together, not that he’s just treating you. In our first consultation he experimented with several methods to see how I responded to them and also took copious notes about lifestyle and other factors. I really had the sense that he was doing more than diagnosing an isolated problem - the word “holistic” is often used in questionable contexts, but it does describe his work in the best sense. I find his approach really empowering. My knee is now fine most of the time, and even when it isn’t, a better understanding of what’s happening means I find the pain much less limiting too. It’s also significant for me that Johnathan isn’t prescriptive, he understands that not everyone will adhere to regular exercise regimens and is totally non-judgmental about that. He’s also very thoughtful and considerate about putting you at ease. I am now a big fan of him and what he does! Knowing he is based locally is really reassuring to me so I hope he stays a long time!

I went to Johnathan because I’d been diagnosed with a disk prolapse and was in intermittent, sometimes very limiting, pain. I’m really grateful for what he taught me in just a single session. It’s fundamentally changed how I respond to pain and stress in my body. He really listened to me, and made me feel very taken care of. We focused on how to calm down my central nervous system and my body’s defensive/inflammatory response to pain. I learned that it’s possible for me to disrupt pain signals and reduce the level of pain I’m feeling, and increase my ability to keep moving. I feel more in control physically, and confident, and as I say, I’m very grateful!

I’ve spent a lot of sessions with Johnathan, and he has done wonders for my body. I suffer with a bad shoulder due to repetitive strain within my job, and Johnathan has helped me gain back a full range of movement! His knowledge is excellent and he explains everything so well so you can understand what is going on, in your body, you couldn’t be in better hands! I would highly recommend, he is brilliant!

During a time of crisis with my lower back, Johnathan was the most comforting and reassuring therapist. As a performer, he knew that my work was not "everyday" movement, and was able to help keep me working in a safe manner. Without his knowledge, expertise, and guidance, it would not have been possible. You are in great hands with Johnathan.....literally! But just as important, it eased my mind seeing him.
