She is also very warm and personable and she put me completely at ease. Lastly, Zoe has a reputation amongst other hospital staff as not only being incredibly good at what she does but also at being extremely hard working and dedicated to her patients.

   It wasn’t easy discovering I had breast cancer after I arrived at a one-stop breast clinic appointment on my own but Prof Zoe was incredibly human and reassuring. She also gave me a hug, which I’m not sure every doctor would have done. Prof Zoe is extremely evidence-based in her approach and recommendations and shares the most relevant and credible scientific literature with me at every step so that I can make informed decisions with her about my care. Prof Zoe is also incredibly thorough and told me from the start that we weren’t going to shoot from the hip with regards to my treatment approach. I feel I have had a very tailored and personalised care experience. Every other expert that Prof Zoe has referred me to has been excellent and I am delighted and amazed by the aesthetic results of my surgery (plus the clear margins, of course). Something else I love about Prof Zoe is that she has a sense of humour, which I really appreciate because cancer can feel rather heavy at times and it helps me to smile. She also has a fantastic Practice Manager, Jenny, who is wonderful, warm and brilliantly efficient at helping to move treatment forward.

   I visited Professor Zoe Winters at the one stop breast clinic. She was supportive, encouraging and informative from the very start. Zoe ensured I had a clear understanding of tests that were happening and of the implications of any results. Upon finding out I required further care elsewhere, Zoe put me in contact with everyone I needed. Zoe made herself available whenever I needed her and was always able to supply me with more advice/information than I could have asked for. Above everything else Zoe was incredible compassionate and showed genuine care throughout.

   Prof Zoe Winters is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a consultant, with such outstanding quality of medical care, that combines such personal touches and care for a patient. She always put me at ease when I saw her and really took the time to explain things to me. I was very nervous on the day of surgery, but Prof Zoe took the time to see me beforehand and I felt very reassured - the surgery she performed was of the highest standard (I hardly have any bruising and the cuts are very neat/immaculate). I highly recommend Prof Zoe Winters as a Breast Specialist!!
