These guys are amazing, they shipped extremely quickly and when the package got lost in the mail (not their fault at all), they responded the same day and sent another straight away with next day shipping , would highly recommend, and definitely gonna buy again. 10/10 service
I ordered a set of Seismic Speedvent wheels from Vandem at full RRP (£95). They arrived loose with no retail packaging or insert card, and there was no mention on the site that they’d be supplied that way. At this price point, I expected retail-condition stock — especially since Seismic normally ship Speedvents with packaging. When I contacted Vandem, I wasn’t met with an apology or acknowledgement. Instead, the replies felt defensive and dismissive. At one point the issue was reframed as being about “single use plastics”, and another email included the line: “I'd say we're by far the most transparent shop in the UK when it comes to our business practise in general.” My concern was never about plastic waste — it was about paying full RRP and not receiving the product in its retail packaging, with no transparency at the point of sale. For me, the packaging mattered because these were my first proper LDP wheels after having a stroke, and I’d hoped to keep the insert card as a milestone of my recovery. The wheels themselves ride great, but what left me disappointed was how my concern was handled. I respect Vandem’s role in the UK longboard scene, but my experience left me disappointed. Transparency matters: if a shop is selling loose or effectively display stock at full RRP, that should be clearly stated so customers can make an informed decision. Update: Shortly after posting this, another review appeared that touched on some of the same points I raised but from the opposite perspective. That could well be coincidence, but I found the timing and overlap interesting.

These guys are amazing! I surf but am new to skating and wanted advice on a surf skate that I could also use to commute to work. Matt spent the time and advised me superbly well, and now I am loving my new board and look forward to skating it to and from work every day! Fantastic shop, I highly recommend. I ordered a longboard for my partner's birthday, I didn't realise it would take a few days to get the board to the store before they send it to me. It clearly states this on the board that I ordered..so completely me not paying attention as I paid for next day delivery..so obviously it wouldn't make it to me the next Day. The store messaged me straight away to advise me of this and my error and was extremely helpful. They kept in constant communication and advised when it was sent out and then when it was on route to me . They were able to do a super quick turnaround and I had the board the day before my partner's birthday. Fantastic customer service!! Would buy all my family longboards just for the great customer service! The board was beautiful and my partner absolutely loved it. Thank you so much!
First time purchase from Vandem Longboard Shop and I'm sure it won't be my last, ordered a Landyachtz Dinghy Blunt Pinecone online and the board arrived the next day. I'm very happy with the board and the service. Looking forward to some nicer weather so I can hit the streets.
My partner gave me a lush nomad for Christmas. Excellent customer service throughout - I’ve panic ordered protection since. Free softer bushings mean I’m carving between the children all over the skate park easily and with little experience. Happy new year!
Have a few Lush Longboards (Kilima's) in the family so when I heard my young nephew was looking to get into skateboarding it was an easy decision on which brand to go for. Vandem Longboard Shop have good stock, were great in changing out the bushings to softer ones, good communication by email and the delivery went really fast. Really recommend these guys. Buying quality can cost a bit more than cheaper boards that can be found elsewhere online but its worth it in so many ways! Board bought; LUSH FUEL MINI CRUISER :-) Thanks!
Excellent company, ordered my Lush Freebyrd Elite complete board and had it delivered the next day, great advise from the guys at the shop, fantastic customer service. The board and some other bits arrived very well packaged, no plastics in the packaging and the invoice included a nice hand written note. The board itself is nothing short of beautiful and it rides so nicely, everything about it is top top quality. I am a returning boarder after lots of years but it felt like I have been riding it forever, that's down to the guys at the shop helping me with my choice. I will definitely use Vandem again, in fact I don't think I'll go anywhere else. Thanks again guys and keep up the excellent work.
