My experience was great. The receptionist and the Nurse attended to me with care. The Nurse advised me on the importance of being hydrated all day and exercise for my health. Very satisfied with their services.
I saw Gp Shanti today. Never seen her before. She had a bad cold and was wiping her nose with her bare hands without a tissue or a mask which she was sneezing in the all over the place. Disgusting. Where was her mask and there is something called tissue ? She didn’t even want to check my records as I’m disabled and told me to go work as she doesn’t see a disability on me? How dare her say that to me? When I told her I have health issues look at my record she said she only has 10 minutes and can’t waste time? What kind of a Gp is she? Disgraceful.. I requested from the receptionist never to see her again. I’ve been with my surgery for over 20 years and this has never happened before.
I had a concerning set of symptoms and was seen on the day that I flagged it. I had a young GP who was excellent - very clear and thorough. Follow on in terms of both testing and communication was really good and very reassuring. I also had blood tests from a really friendly and efficent nurse. Given that most practices are under such pressure I would like to say thank you to all the staff at Woodland - I am very grateful and felt very well supported.
I’m a new patient at the Woodlands Health Centre and was very impressed by my visit today. To begin, Deborah at reception was so helpful fitting me in for my new patient appointment after arriving slightly late. I was then welcomed by Pep who had fantastic warm attitude supplemented by uplifting music in her office, who took my blood sample, performed other checks including blood pressure discussion and kindly booked me in to see the duty doctor. Then I continued with a lifestyle & medical history conversation with nurse Chinelo, who was lovely and a pleasure to talk to. Finally I met with Dr. Nike Akinmolayan who was positive, knowledgeable and helpful with advising on next steps around my blood pressure management. Thank you to whole team for welcoming me and showing genuine care, I feel very lucky to move to Hither Green and join this wonderful surgery. Iva
Lovely, helpful staff, doctors are so kind and understanding, no rushing with patients. The surgery is clean, located in a green, leafy area. Check in was so easy, the facilities are hygenic and lots of information on display. Added extra that l appreciated is the calming jazz music in the background. Great experience!
It’s mission impossible to book an appointment at this surgery. I tried multiple times - I called 111 last Sunday and will have to do it again today. The surgery offers 2 options to book appointments - an online app which does not provide a General GP. Appointment option - only a thorough list of out-of-GP practice specialist services. I watched their “helpful” video on how to book appointments and the options just don’t show in the actual app! One could also call at 8 am - I called at 8 am sharp and was #18 in the queue. Calling a bit later in the morning like I did yesterday is a waste of time. What’s really stupid is that the patient calling at around 10 makes it to the waiting list (I did yesterday) but there’s no memory of these patients who don’t get to speak to GP the following day. As if their need for their GP magically disappeared over night.
I’ve just moved to this GP surgery and I have been so impressed. The reception staff are polite and helpful, the nurse I have seen (Pep Ihoumah) was kind and excellent at explaining what she was doing. I felt well supported. When I saw the GP (Dr Wilton), I felt that she really listened to me and gave me the support I needed. She was kind and understanding. I’d definitely recommend using this practice, based on my experience so far.
Great doctors to be at, very efficient, friendly polite staff with their service, appointment times need to worked on though. But other than that there are no complaints from me. These staff are amazing
Easy registration and helpful staff. I had my new patient checkup with Pep, who was absolutely amazing. I was pleasantly surprised when I was offered to do a full blood test screening at my first appointment.
It’s always easy to book appointments through the app and order your repeat meds. Doctors, nurses and admin staff are always polite and good at their job. Their flu and covid clinic was very easy to book and quick vaccination process.
