good facilities for study. large desks and bookable rooms which is great. Gets too busy during exam and deadline season tho. Toilets usually proper grim depending on which floor. Needs to be open 24hrs considering it’s the main study hub for off campus.

I sent almost all of my last year writing my dissertation and studying at Virgil. It’s well located in the city center and offers decent amount of study space but there are several BIG issues with this facility. It was almost always dirty (especially the bathrooms), overcrowded and a lot of the furniture was falling apart. It would really benefit from a refit and modernization.
Quiet, well-maintained workspaces with both bookable and walk-in study rooms/cubicles.
Reception staff and security guards very helpful. Great location in the city centre.
Great to have a University of Bath study space in the city, and it's very nicely decked out, too. As a result its always really busy during term time though!
