   I’ve had such a positive experience with Be U Dance! I trained as a dancer with the company for a few years and went on to become the apprentice. During my time with the company I got more confident and got better at performing and choreography. There were so many amazing opportunities and I made dance connections and friends for life. Ive since gone on to and graduated from University and now run my own dance class and dance troupe. Being in Be U Dance helped me grow and succeed with what I now do today. Thank you Fleur!!

   I’ve been a member of BUDC for almost 2 years now and it’s been an amazing experience so far. The students and teachers are so nice and make you feel safe and included and there’s never a dull time. Everyone there is so inspiring and encouraging and have helped build my confidence and creativity loads especially by doing the shows. I’ve also learnt a wide range of skills since. As soon as I joined I felt excited for everything to come and I’ve enjoyed every moment since. So thank you to Fleur, Fran and the rest of the team, you’ve made a big impact to not just me but to the rest of the students too.

   My daughter has been part of BUDC for the past 3 years and has enjoyed every minute. The sessions are challenging yet fun, and the teaching team are inspiring and encouraging. Her dancing has improved no end and her love for dance has grown too. Alongside the classes, there have been opportunities to take part in other activities including performances and workshops. We would highly recommend BUDC for any young person who is interested in contemporary dance, and are very grateful to them for all they do for their students.

BUDC has shaped me as a performer by nurturing my passion for dance; helping me develop my choreographic, technical and expressive skills. BUDC has given me amazing opportunities within the national dance scene such as; practitioner work shops, dance for film, multiple competitions and more fun experiences.    My daughters have been attending BYCD for last few years. Fleur is an excellent teacher and role model for the students. Their lessons are fun and productive. We have loved watching their shows. I particularly love that it is relaxed and positive for the dancers. Classes are Inclusive and promoting enjoyment of dance. The support for dancers wanting to study further is excellent.    My children have been attending BYDC for the past few years and we love it! The staff have been amazing, inspiring the students to try different dance styles, gently building confidence and dance technique while making friends and being part of a friendly and welcoming group outside of school. We always look forward to the show at the end of the term when we can watch what they have been up to! I highly recommend.
