   My two sons and daughter started ballet lessons here from the age of 4. They all loved it from the start. There’s an excellent balance of discipline, technique and fun. Standards (teaching, shows, choreography) are extremely high. My son is now 13 and still goes every week because he enjoys the learning, sees the improvement, and most of all loves the shows, which are well worth paying for.

   A very professional and welcoming ballet school. The teachers are kind and nurturing, and extremely knowledgeable in their roles. Chica, who heads up the classes, is a very well respected and experienced ballerina and the children benefit highly from this experience. The other teachers are also experienced and still perform regularly, meaning the children are always learning more and gaining so much insight into the world of ballet. Highly recommend!

   The best ballet school in the South West of England. All teachers approach classes with great enthusiasm and professionalism. We are very lucky that we have the opportunity to learn from such masters as Chika and Yuri. Thanks to ballet, my daughter has been able to progress faster in many other dance and sports activities.

   My 9 year old daughter has been dancing at Bristol Russian Ballet School since she was 4 years old. She really enjoys it and is progressing well. The two principles of the school are fantastic - they have both danced for incredible ballet companies around the world, they are passionate and very professional. I have been so impressed with the training that they offer. The ballet shows that the children practice to be in are of the utmost quality. The children learn great discipline whilst at their ballet classes, and always leave with a big smile on their face.

   My daughter has been doing ballet with Chika and Yuri at BRBS for 10 years. She loves it. It has been a brilliant and truly positive experience for her and us. All the staff are so deeply invested and committed to the children and the artistry and the shows every year they put on are simply incredible and such an amazing opportunity for all the dancers whether they are 4 or 14.
