   Very quiet in here. It like an abandoned pub. Beer's aren't that great. Outside tables are falling apart. Bar service is slow. This use to be a nice pub, but its gone downhill unfortunately.

   Brilliant evening at the gauntlet in kenilworth. Food way amazing. Staff were so polite and accommodating. The young lady behind the bar was very helpful and made us feel welcome table service was great. The manager ash was off duty but went out his way to cook for us when we mentioned about food. Thank you so much very homely welcoming atmosphere highly recommend.

   New landlord has got his work cut out to bring this 1970s style local pub up to scratch after a closure. I wish him well. No food was on or even hot drinks when we visited though they hope to reinstate.

   RockinWarren played live at the Gauntlet last night. When we arrived there were families enjoying food, there were friends having drinks. The venue is a heart of the community type of public house serving food, drinks and providing entertainment. We really enjoyed playing at the pub, the clientele were very friendly. The staff were nice, the pub clean including the toilets. I would recommend any band or artist to play here if they get a chance. Anyone living in Kenilworth this place is a must, a place that deserves support from the local commnity. We hope to back playing at the Gauntlet in 2024. Thank you for having us

   So we stop in Kenilworth and went to the Gauntlet for an evening meal we arrived just before 5pm when they start food service. But the bar staff gave us a menus and put the order through for us. When got our drinks quickly after this and didn’t wait long for the food my wife ordered the lasagna and I tried the hickory bbq burger. Both were really good I would have said perfect but I had requested no salad or coleslaw and received coleslaw. While having it on the plate didn’t ruin the meal in the slightest it stopped this being the best. I highly recommend this place still staff are friendly and it has a local pub feel. I would suggest a new mop for cleaning as there is a strange smell otherwise nothing but praise for the place.

   Absolutely amazing meal as always - the vegetable lasagne was delicious served with lovely fresh salad, burger was very juicy and the homemade coleslaw was a very tasty accompaniment, chips were the best we've had in ages. Great service Highly recommended

   Absolutely gorgeous Sunday lunch. Very large portions, cooked to perfection & friendly staff in this neat & clean pub. Facilities spotless. The 60s style exterior doesn't do it justice - a gem of an eatery & real ales to finish the meal with. Thank you to all the staff for looking after us.

   Ordered 2 Sunday lunches today to be delivered. The food arrived on time and piping hot. The meal itself was absolutely delicious and the quality of the ingredients was top notch. The size of the meal was impressive and the left overs are waiting to be enjoyed tomorrow! Will definitely use again.
