“Very nice fast food. Staff is friendly and the shop is one of the cleanest i saw. When visiting the Kenilworth Castle we had a few choices around but decided on Friends because of the food and prices... the fish was one and a half foot long... Chips are crispy and portions are huge. Would definitely eat there again.”

Food was served in officiant time and hot on arrival and tasted lovely the Christmas menu has a great range and was cooked lovely. Also great range of food for children. “Beautiful food, great value, service impeccable and not intrusive (we all know how constant interruptions can distract from a great meal). Not local to the area, up visiting for a show, so decided to have something different. Fancied Malaysian as I'd stopped off there on holiday once. Starters arrived promptly, presentation was lovely, flavours fantastic. We ordered mains and didn't have to wait too long, a selection of mains, as they all sounded too good to miss, every item was beautiful. So good we ordered extras to takeaway!”

“Excellent service from very helpful staff. Really nice room (a refurbished one) and public areas. The car park couldn't handle a full hotel but that was exacerbated by a few vans taking up more than one space. Don't arrive after 9pm and expecting a space! Handy for the NEC and cheaper than the on site hotels there.”

“I recently stayed at the riverside and it appears to be recently refurbished and modernised. It's been finished to a high standard. The staff were friendly. The food was good. The tv stations in the rooms are endless. The water pressure in the bath will blast it off you. Wifi in the rooms are free and good.”

We decided to get in touch with Jacub for our Mother's 70th birthday and parents 50th Wedding anniversary combined. He created a wonderful 3 course Italian feast. Each course was exceptional and Jakub was so friendly and fun to be around. We would not only recommend his company, but will certainly be using them again. “Been here before and it is a lovely family run cafè. Staff are very helpful and food and coffee are great too. I had a teacake which came with good quality butter and blackcurrant jam. It was like foing back to my childhood for a brief moment!”

“One of our favourite walks around here, lots of open space, a lake to walk around, small play area and beautiful views of the castle. Free parking for a short time which is great. Looking forward to seeing what it's like when the new sports facility is open.”

“Food was good. Probably a really really tasty main course if I weren't vegan. The soup starter was to die for. The portion size was a bit small and a side of broccoli was expensive for the small amount in the side... I think it was £5.50. Drinks sensibly priced. Thai food always has vegan options and the staff were helpful but the menu could have had better descriptions and more mention of plant based options. The service was great and ambulance just right. Overall I spent £26; which was ok although I definitely couldn't have eaten more.”

The staff were amazing and couldn’t have been more accommodating of any request, no matter how big or small. The food was incredible and plentiful as always and the service impeccable. “I had a really, really nice meal here. The atmosphere was really nice with pleasant music and a nice number of other groups eating. The service was impeccable and they dealt with my allergies excellently. The waiter we spoke to knew exactly what would and wouldn't be an issue which was really nice, particularly as my allergies are less common. The food itself was lovely and priced very well (especially the kids' portions). I can't really recommend this restaurant highly enough!”

“First time visiting tamarind after seeing a review in the paper about the restaurant winning an award. Took the missus last night and both of us agreed that this was the best lamb bhuna we've ever had. Food was amazing. Staff were amazing and the place was buzzing with a great atmosphere. It was well worth the 20 min drive from coventry. Tamarind will 100% be our go to from now on.”
