   Private dining experienced with a nice meal Saturday for my brothers 40th birthday. We can be loud as a family when we are all together, but the team did great, the food was great, there were no mistakes and it was a great vibe at this place. Good set of lads who did the waitering, switched on the speakers for us at the end, bit of Oasis to get the crowd dancing ! Highly recommend this place for private dining. Well done to the management and the team.

   We took my godmother, who is visiting us from Portugal, for a Sunday Roast, and I can say for sure she won’t forget this day. The beef roast was delicious, as expected, but the venison roast was a delightful surprise. We also had squid as a starter, which was phenomenal. However, the star of the show was definitely the brownie we had for dessert — it was out of this world! We can’t thank the staff enough — everyone was amazing, especially the gentleman who showed us to our table. What a lovely person! Thank you so much for such a wonderful meal. We’ll definitely be back soon.

   We recently booked the upstairs of Harringtons on the Hill for our small, intimate wedding meal. The staff were amazing and couldn’t have been more accommodating of any request, no matter how big or small. The food was incredible and plentiful as always and the service impeccable. They really made our day special.

   My husband brought me here last Saturday for a birthday lunch. I had a starter of pork and apricot terrine which was ok. However the main was lovely, a beautifully cooked medium rare steak with chimichirru sauce with sautéed mushrooms and chips. Chips a bit dry but the steak made up for this. The star of this establishment is their attention to dessert - a wonderfully light, fragrant lemon and raspberry pannacotta which was divine. Lastly, the staff are very attentive and do their best to accommodate customers wishes. A bistro restaurant worthy of a visit.

   It was busy when we arrived so short wait to be seated for our reservation. Lovely nicely located table for two. We were left with the menus but there was a long wait for drinks orders to be taken and then a shorter wait for drinks to arrive. Once orders taken both starter and main arrived promptly. Sea bass was excellent as was the cod and chips. Presentation of the food excellent. It was a special occasion and we were presented with a mini selection of choc and fruit on a board ar the end. Unexpected lovely thought.

   First time dining here tonight with family and it didn't disappoint. This place has a really nice bistro vibe which is sort of upper rustic if such a term exists. Really great service, warm and friendly atmosphere and we really enjoyed all our food. We did share a dessert but I enjoyed it so much I forgot to take a photo. Definitely park in the queen and castle car park behind as way less faff. Check out the specials as they are delicious. I was a bit like meh the menu looks OK, but I had a feeling it would all be really nice and it was fresh, well sourced end just yum! Check this place out for an occasion or just because!

   Had a lovely lunch with great service. I had the sausages which I wouldn't recommend as a little fatty for my liking but don't let this put you off as the other food on my table was excellent. I would book as very popular place and can see why. The lunch menu considering the food and choice was good value and even get a free glass of wine if have two courses. Will definitely visit again.

   Small British restaurant in an old nicely decorated building. Fantastic service, food quality was 9/10. I had fish and chips and it was really good. Would definitely go again. Price is also great. The best quality Vs price I've tried in the area.

   They cater well for food allergies and intolerances including gluten and dairy free. They went out of their way to amend dishes to cater for various food intolerances. The food was lovely at a good price. The photo is of the amended Eton mess.
