Here for a short stay to see family over the festive period. However this visit was not so merry. Staff seemed to be in a rush to go home. Food was very average. The atmosphere was was no pretty good for obvious reasons.
Visited for a weekday lunch and there was only one waitress looking after all the tables so service was extremely slow. It took ages for drinks to arrive, food orders to be taken, and plates to be cleared. The final straw was when we asked to see dessert menus and nobody had returned after 15 minutes. Although my 2-year old had a dessert included in the price of her meal, we paid up and left as she was growing (understandably) restless.
Visited for a family meal on Sunday. Atmosphere was very pleasant staff was polite and accommodating. Food was served in officiant time and hot on arrival and tasted lovely the Christmas menu has a great range and was cooked lovely. Also great range of food for children. Will definitely return in the future
Popped in for breakfast on our way to the NEC. Convenient location with plenty of parking. The lady who seated us and looked after us was really friendly. Great value for a family of 4…£20 for breakfast including drinks etc. There was a few items on the breakfast offering that weren’t available but what was there was nice enough.
Had Christmas Dinner today (Christmas Day). Service very good considering the venue was full and peak time (1:30 -3pm). Waiter checked our pre ordered choices with us before serving Food - No complaints Atmosphere - very good, helped by the decorations. Thanks to staff for working, hope they were able to enjoy the remainder of the day after finishing service.
We look a beefeater and we drove ten minutes off route to try this one out. It didn't dissapoint. Welcoming and friendly service from Leigh and Lewis. Cooked fresh breakfast with plenty of continental options. Leigh and Lewis were smartly dressed and despite it being a busy morning were fully in control of everything. A smile goes a long way and it was clear they are happy delivering great customer service. The George in the Tree was spotless inside, perhaps could do with a lick of paint outside but this didn't detract one bit from what was a pleasant experience. Would 100% visit again if we are in the area.
Rating this for the (Premier Inn) breakfast. Phil and his wife are brilliant hosts, absolutely nailed customer service to perfection. Service was prompt and friendly, perfect welcome for an early morning. Just the right levels of interaction. Food is cooked fresh to order rather than a buffet and was delicious, fresh and hot. You get the same full selection as with the normal buffet. Nice to see vegetarian options for a full English experience. There was also the continental breakfast options on the buffet.
Great food & friendly staff in a comfortable surrounding.
