Prices were very reasonable for the quality, and the overall experience was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for great food and a nice vibe.”

“Jimmy’s is a very short walk away from the house for us, so it’s a welcome treat for lunch. Decent selection of sandwiches/burgers and includes specials. Recommend the Yorkshire pudding wrap, it’s messy to eat but super tasty!”

The food was delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the whole event was organized perfectly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, everything was beautifully decorated, and the team showed true professionalism in every detail. “Staff are always welcoming and friendly and very accommodating when I pop in with my baby and pram in tow. Food is lovely. Especially love the toasties, hot chocolates and ultimate brownies. One of my favourite places to go in Kenilworth for a light lunch / treat.”

“Went here yesterday 18th dec for some hot drinks before panto at the priory theatre. 5 adults 2 teens and a 6 year old. The man serving us (didn’t catch his name) couldn’t be more accommodating, very friendly and helpful and enthusiastic he took our order, made suggestions on drinks including which size would be best for the little one and then found us a lovely table, the waitress (also didn’t catch her name) young girl was lovely, the vibe felt very welcoming and the hot drinks were really cheap and the hot chocolates had cream and marshmallows which were offered I didn’t have to ask like in most places. Will deffo be back hopefully for food next time”

“Incredible curry, the whole family loved it. We ordered a variety of dishes and they were all perfect. Our takeaway order was ready within 40 minutes and the service was pleasant. My only quarm is the poppadom is just a single poppadom for 80p, I was expecting a few more per unit.”

“A wonderful pub in the shadow of Kenilworth Castle that serves huge plates of excellent pub grub for very reasonable prices. Friendly efficient staff and lovely real ale. Do go there if you're in the area. Probably best to book to ensure a table as it was almost full when we were there.”

“Wow just wow We loved it. So glad they moved up town. We arrived for a Sunday evening dinner out. Greeted with a smile from the amazing staff that will go above n beyond to make yr stay perfect. They have decorated the place so well, such a lovely atmosphere. And then the food. I wanted to try something different to start with and went for the duck. The name of it is on the bill. Omg the presentation and the taste WOW. Absolutely loved it. I will be asking for that as a main next time for sure. The wife had the chicken starter which she said straight away, we are coming back for more lol. The rest of the meal was just as good. Excellent presentation, taste is top notch. We highly recommend The Ark And we will be back to try the steaks next time too.”

“Stayed for 2 nights. Very helpful & pleasant staff. 2 very nice dinners; the menu was somewhat limited. Excellent full english breakfast. Room very pleasant & clean; bed was comfortable. Only criticism is the absence of a light over the mirror above the dressing table.”

“Was absolutely fantastic, ordered it on a Friday at 5pm for it to arrive after 20 minutes! And we were the village over! The delivery driver was incredibly sweet also. The food was piping hot, which is always appreciated, and the food was well seasoned, even down to the pork rice. If you want a Chinese takeaway in the area surrounding Kenilworth or in Kenilworth, go with Tai Pan!”

Don't let the frontage put you off as once you go around the back, you'll see they have a lovely outdoor space with plenty of seating. It will be gorgeous in the summer. Last weekend I was greeted by name on arrival and Mia had allocated us our favourite room even though I'd forgotten to request it. Rooms are clean & comfortable and have what you need for an overnight stay.”

“I came in today for a casual Christmas Day drink, and after seeing these reviews I have to write something. The customers were appalling, spitting on staffs faces about how their meals hadn’t arrived. I get I didn’t have a meal however, the staff had given up their Christmas Day to cater for your Christmas Day, they are the most lovely staff I’ve never had a bad experience in The White Horse. I think people need to realise they are eating in a pub, you are not going to get 5 star experience. Even though it is just a local pub The White Horse go above and beyond for their customers and unfortunately the day things went wrong, that couldn’t be controlled, was Christmas Day. Things happen, isn’t the end of the world think before your speak to people badly when they have given up their special day to cater for your special day.”

“Found this restaurant whilst driving past with work, thought that looks ok, checked on the internet and booked for Sunday lunch. Had a lovely 3 course meal and had not 1 thing negative to say about it. When again the following but this time opted for the menu rather than Sunday lunch. Again a lovely meal and nothing negative to say. The staff are friendly and professional, and a shout out to Lilia, only been once before and she remembered us and also remembered that I asked for no peas, that to me shows her quality as I’m sure she had served 100’s of customers over the previous week.”
