Came here on a Saturday evening with the family & was easy to get a table. Lots of different options on the menu but being a smokehouse wasn't particularly interested in the burgers. The beef brisket was exemplary & the pork sausage as really good too, i deffo suggest being a bit wild and creating a sandwhich with the bread as that was crazy soft & flavourful. For fries, probably the tastiest ive had in all honesty with the seasoning I had but thats down to preference & my partner was very happy with the roasted potatoes. They went well with the sauces as they were unique and very good. Tacos were enjoyed considering a smokehouse. The mac & cheese was pretty good also. Only criticism was the turkey was kinda bland & a little chewy. Service was good, didnt have the room for deserts. If your looking for bbq smokehouse food & dont want to travel to hickorys definitely recommend this place.

Food overall was great but I wouldn’t recommend the chicken tenders off the starters menu. Tasted very cheap and had a weird coating. Cauliflower bites were delicious however and the burger and tacos were up there as some of the best we’ve tried. Service was fantastic and food came out

It was nice seeing the restaurant reopen after a brief period, and I'm going to base this review on my most recent experience. This is my 4th visit and I really do enjoy the low lit and laid back atmosphere that this restaurant brings. The staff are very friendly, I did visit on a Saturday service was a bit slower due to the usual busyness which was understandable. Now for the drinks, there is a strong offering of different alcoholic and non alcoholic options, I decided to go with a diet coke, my husband ordered the peach ice tea which was lovely. The menu has had an update which is great to see, I decided to opt for a solo burger and two loaded side dishes, and I must say I was slightly underwhelmed. The loaded chips were fries* (it is a bugbear of mine, when someone declares chips but instead arrives skinnier than what I expect) but the cheese sauce and chilli was a good combination. The Mac and cheese balls were lacking on the seasoning end but the chilli sauce they were served with did help enhance the flavour, textually these were spot on. For the main meal, I ordered the bbq pulled pork chicken burger, which had a nice flavour overall, but the chicken fillet was a bit overcooked and the pulled pork could have had more punch to it, as it tasted quite plain, but the texture of the pulled pork was melty which is what I expect. Finally, dessert, I ordered the sticky toffee pudding which was very delicious but I did have to wait a bit for this to be served (it was worth the wait). To summarise, it wasn't the best experience on the food front, but I will say I have ordered from the smokehouse section before, and historically I've been more impressed with the offerings here and I do think it's the best vfm, and the team do get creative with their flavour combinations here. Great service from the team, and yes I would visit again as I do believe it's one of the better eateries in Coventry.

What an amazing find. I organised for my group to centre here from all over England. Parking was good, it was not centre of town too, but on a busy high st. The food was amazing! I had the vegan corn ribs, which was the best food experience I have had as a vegan. I do miss holding a bone and eating from it. My main was a the stuffed pepper, also good. Well presented, tasty and a decent size. Others in the party had burgers, platters and wings which reports where good. The drinks selection was decent too. Staff where friendly and attentive, which was totally lovely to add to the experience. Overall, I rarely give 5 stars, but this deserves it 100%. Great job team street.

Lovely meal and service, couple of things that marked it down a star. We ordered a bottle of wine and it was just put on our table with 2 glasses and left for us to pour ourselves and we waited a while for a dessert menu which was just an oversight. Food was delicious, one of those places where you want to try a little bit of everything, nice vibe, reasonably priced. Would recommend and visit again.

Just popped in to order a takeaway snack, had the pulled pork loaded chips and dirty? nachos to share. Really polite staff, speedy service and good portions. Have to say, probably the best nachos i've ever had! They were destroyed in seconds!

Food uninspiring but inoffensive. 1* for bumping VAT on top of menu prices on the bill without stating this anywhere on the menu Edited to add photos as mgmt replied to deny.. Odd that they're still denying this practice

Their special triple cheese burger was amazing. The hand-cut fries so delicious. Good atmosphere. Staff was visibly happy and very positive making it a very good experience.

I was disappointed with this lunch takeaway, the food was likely yesterday evenings and the pulled meat was so heavily seasoned/flavoured it could have been anything, and th. Sausage was poor quality. Overpriced even if it was good but I wouldn't have moaned about it in that case. Gherkins were delicious...

Staff are great and very accommodating however I think they could do with perfecting vegetarian options. The Vegan wings were lovely however the tofu hotpot was not very authentic, the wrong type of rice was used and it tasted sweet rather than savory. The staff were very understanding and swapped it for Singapore noodles which was also a disappointment, tasted sweet instead of fiery and also had fava beans which was unusual. The ambiance was great just the vegetarian food was slight let down.
