   Ok, well, first time visiting here for a birthday, starter was prawns in garlic butter sauce which was lovely but only 3 prawns for £7.95 and 1 piece of bread. No bread was provided for the table which cost £4.95 and was a warmed up shop bought ciabatta, passable olive oil and balsamic vinegar. My main was the fish of the day which was apparently seabass in a butter sauce with seasonal vegetables. The fish was basa (which is identifiable by the flavour profile and the fillet structure and 1/10 of the price) NOT SEABASS and was oily. The butter sauce was passable. I had 5 green beans and 3 slices of carrot cooked aldente and buttered which was nice. My potatoes were supposedly saute new potatoes according to the waiter, but they arrived as plain buttered new potatoes which I wasnt bothered about initially. However, upon eating them it became apparent that they had had been precooked and reheated as the flavour profile had completely changed and they were not pleasant. The house red was inoffensive but nothing to write home about, just about drinkable. I was charged £7.50 for an affogato without liqueur even though this is the price for one with liqueur as I didnt fancy it. The icecream was a 2 small balls of a vanilla icecream (with undeclared and unwanted chocolate sauce and flake) in a bowl and a shot of espresso on the side. The quality of icecream was shocking, so icey it diluted the espresso and the mouthful was extremely unpleasant, no flavour to be spoken of and a complete waste of money. Do not recommend, buy a jamie Oliver cookbook and stay at home.

   Great atmosphere. Lovely welcoming staff. Nice selection of italian classics. Eaten here a few times and over all enjoyed the experiance. My only critisism would be the pasta has been over cooked the past few times. The over all flavour though is nice. Recommend for all occasions

   Leaving this review a little late as I thought I had done it previously! Visited here for a Valentines 2025 meal and the experience couldn't have been any better. Warm and inviting with excellent friendly and attentive staff. We were seated near the kitchen which added to the experience -- the smells! All.of our dishes were delicious and very well presented. Pleasure to recommend The Little Olive and thanks to everyone who helped make a special night all the more memorable.

   My mum and I have wanted to visit this restaurant for a while and we are so glad we did! The staff were lovely and the decor was great. We shared the pizza parma, a mixed salad, and garlic mushrooms and all was amazing! We will definitely be returning.

   We came here for a meal here last night after a recommendation from a friend. The atmosphere was great, friendly team running the place, the only thing I would mention is that service could have been better, we had about 4 empty glasses and a jug at the end of the table for most of the sitting which made it a bit crowded/cramped at my end of the table as I moved them all there to make it easier for them to be collected. We ordered more drinks half way through the meal & they were still left there when the new ones were delivered. My calamari was quite chewy & the portion was small but the side salad that came with it filled the gap. The garlic mushrooms were ok, a bit juicy for my partners liking. The mains were great, decent portions and very tasty indeed. I Would definitely recommend coming here for the Amatriciana!

   We had an excellent 3 coarse meal and it was all delicious the best meal I have had in a long time. Would highly recommend this restaurant and the staff were all so polite freindly and helpful. Will definitely be visiting here again.

   Excellent service and great quality food. Always lovely to go back here. The service tonight was wonderful. We took friends with us for their 1st visit to the Little Olive and they had an amazing tine and loved the food. Our waitress Saar was so helpful and very cheerful, it was our pleasure for her to serve us. Really is a great place to go and very good value for your money. Will 100% go back again and so will our friends.

   Went for a 92nd birthday, which they made extra special. Always delicious food. Can adapt pasta dishes to make vegan and the homemade pasta is amazing. Others had a t-bone steak.
