   I placed an order on their own website, as usual. However, when the order didn’t arrive, I rang to ask about it, to be told they no longer took online orders, and to ask for a refund through YoYo. I rang the YoYo helpline to be informed they don’t deal with ‘end users’ and to request a refund through Oadby Chippy. 3 phone calls later, and Oadby Chippy are still saying “they no longer take online orders” but SOMEONE has taken the money from my account! This is a ridiculous situation. No food, and no money, and Oadby Chippy’s online ordering service is still up and running. If they no longer use the damn website, why haven’t they closed it down?

   Normally fish and chips is ok. Recently the fish has been very greasy, also very little fish, full of batter. Batter 80%, 20% fish.

   Absolutely embarrassing customer servici waited 1 1/2 hours, food is inedible, stone cold, refused to refund me, tried to make me wait another 25 minutes for delivery, boy on the phone saying to hang up on me

   Tonight I experienced the most wonderful customer service. All very welcoming and one gentleman even offered to help carry my bag of shopping I took in as it looked heavy. Was so lovely of him to offer. As for the food, I'm never disappointed. Whether it's fish and chips or a curry, it's always delicious.

   Order from here regularly and usually really nice although almost always late. Ordered again tonight (all chippy food which is always already cooked) and was so disappointed. Put our order in at 7pm said it would be delayed and would be delivered at 8.03 rang at 8.15 and got told it was on its way, waited a further 30 mins (we live 10 mins away) for them to be rude saying he was outside and put the phone down! Also forgot the drink we ordered. Food was cold and it took nearly 2 hours to be delivered on a Wednesday night! The driver also was on the phone when he delivered and even admitted himself that they weren’t busy. We won’t be ordering from here again which is a shame as we usually love it

   Honest review - extremely poor service received today from the Oadby chippy. We placed a take away order for a specific time, unfortunately I was a few minutes late due to being stuck in traffic. I was made to wait a further 20 minutes for my food, despite the food being packed and ready for me to take away (which by the time I got home was cold). I was spoken to rudely by the owner and staff member - this will be the last time I will be ordering from here. Save your money and go else where. You’ll get more tastier food and much better customer service.

   THIS PLACE HERE IS THE CLOSEST YOU WILL GET TO LONDON SPICE HUT STYLE NAGA DONNER, i missed naga donner quite a bit due to not beeing able to travel as much, a friend recommended this shop and im glad i went, the portion is big and worththe price, the picture below is what is left after me eating half, the chips are perfected, the taste is closer than you think and chillier, not fake like the shops that claim they do naga donner around the leicester area, your doubts will get pushed aside i garuntee you, i will DEFINETLEY be going back and will recommend for a family gathering choice of place to get food from.

   One of the best fish and chip suppers I've had in a long time. The fish was very well cooked with a lovely texture plus nice chips as well. Crisp and grease free, a support that scores highly and one I'd recommend without hesitation.
