After a fun day in the city centre, me and my friends decided to try out this restaurant. The service was good and the value of food for money was great. I had a chicken and prawn bento box for around Β£16.5 and there was a pleasant amount of food. My friends also enjoyed their dishes too - I cannot recall what they ordered. I would go again and try something else.

Disappointing. Slow service, we had to wait an age for the food. We chose the Bento box and kids meal which came in a sweet little boat type plate. Presentation was good but chicken was dry and food was poor quality. Would not return here.

Food was very nice and quick. Loved the beef donburi I had. The staff was very friendly as well and we had a great time here. Would definitely recommend β™₯️

I hated the food here, it tastes exactly the same as the instant / ready made stuff I buy at the oriental supermarket, except they are selling it at extortionate prices, about half their asking price would be better. It wouldn't be so bad if their service was good, but it wasn't, they took forever to take our order, and the waiter was giving out bad vibes all the time, he was miserable and just didn't want to be there. He also kept slamming everything on to peoples' tables, he slammed our noodles down onto our table so hard a large amount of the broth spilled onto the table, no apology nothing. I won't be coming back here, and I suggest you don't bother trying - they don't deserve your hard earned cash!

Nice enough food but service was slightly lacking. Nobody took a drinks order and when I asked for a water it never arrived. Slightly pricey but good portion sizes. Okay for a quick meal

What can I say? No sushi available today… food was okay. Bento box was a good size but the price was a little steep, the tempura and gyoza were pre frozen… the side dishes were not super high quality. Would prefer to chose somewhere else next time. Thanks to the super kind staff tho, they were a highlight

A bit of a run down spot, there was ducktape on our seats and its a bit cold inside as its close to the doors. The staff weren't welcoming or friendly but that didn't bother me much. The food was pretty good, the chicken ramen broth was delicious and warming, and it was a huge portion. Though, halfway through my meal I realised the noodles were in fact, spaghetti. So I dont think it is very authentic lol. My partner had beef gyudon which was quite tasty and filling. Was hoping it would come with an egg but it didn't. Its a bit expensive in there also but most Japanese restaurants are. Overall 3/5

We visited this place on a wim as we were hungry Its not a big restaurant, but there were a few spaces left There were plenty of people tucking into their food and it looked great. Most of the customers were of Asian origin, not sure if thatss a good sign of good food or that,s just a myth. We were greeted and shown where we could sit, but a friendly member of staff. the menus and other graphics look quite poor compared to the other places within the St David Center. Maybe that's the look they want. Traditional, no frills look. The menu isn't the most extensive, but it does have decent selection of food. The prices seem quite high, but the portions and quality were very good for us. I ordered pork spice Ramen noodles and it was very nice. The spider crab roll was also very good. I'm no expert in Japanese cuisine, but i did enjoy it very much. Overall a great experience and would visit there again. Our bill came to Β£50 with 4 dishes, a wine, green tea and bottle of rose lemonade.

Lovely food, friendly staff, food comes out very quickly. Had the chicken karage to start which was crispy and flavourful. Followed by the beef donburi which was lush - highly recommend. Dessert was a delicious scoop of black sesame and a scoop of coconut milk ice cream. Lovely end to a fab meal.
