Super tasty food! So fresh and great portion sizes. Loved my biryani! Really recommend. Gets busy so can sometimes take a while for the food to be ready - but always happy to wait as at least you know it’s being made fresh!
Have to admit to using the other curry house in the village but tried here last night. Everything cooked fresh. No microwave pings. Food was fantastic.
I have been using this Indian takeaway forever, even though we moved from Markfield to Ibstock, we still use this takeaway. The food is consistently delicious, the attitude of the staff is always warm and friendly. ***** ***** I would happily give them 10 stars!!
I am just recovering from food poisoning, the food did not taste nice, I did phone and spoke to the management team - all I got told is the food is fresh. I have had to get health environment involved. I would never go here again.
Lovely, traditional, food. You can see inside the kitchen/food preparation area which is always positive but the customer service is second to none. When your food is ready rather than pass it over the counter they come from behind the counter to the front of the shop to hand it to you personally.

Been good for a few years but gone downhill. You get nowhere chatting with them. Take everything to heart. Sadly they lose a loyal customer.
What's happened to Balti No1? Have been a regular customer for years but the takeaway last night was truly awful. The onion bhaji was the size of a squashed apricot nothing like the delicious and large portions of the past. The curry had no sparkle at all. There was an overcharge AND the prices have gone up. Within an hour of eating I felt distinctly ill. Won't be returning and by the quietness of the takeaway many more have found the same .
