Second year of having breakfast with Santa here, even more magical than last year! Staff were amazing, breakfast was delicious, plenty of activities to keep the kids busy, the whole atmosphere was perfect.

We phoned at the last minute on a Sunday afternoon and were kindly found a table. The roast beef dinner was excellent , tender beef and beautifully roasted vegetables. The apple crumble was too tempting to miss, so we shared, lovely. Friendly and prompt service. Definitely recommended. Thanks

We held my sisters 50th birthday meal here and the staff were amazing, a real credit to landlady Amy. So warm and friendly. The food has really improved and was lovely and amazing. Thank you to the whole team who made us feel welcome and could not do enough for us.

Absolutely bloody amazing. We have a 2 year old, and there's an amazing playground and a little room with a few toys in, so a perfect place for kids! (Including potty, kids toilet seat, nappies and wipes and a stool for the kids to wash hands!) The roast was the best roast I've had in a long long time. The creamed leeks were just perfect. Mash and toasties! Can't get better. Reasonably priced too! Amazing. Best kids friendly place we've been too.

Lovely place to eat. Comfortable environment and friendly, helpful staff. For a Sunday afternoon, with a number of tables taken, the service was very quick. Food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced for the quality.

Couldn't fault the service! Considering how busy they were, they gave you 5 star service! Will be returning 100% food was exceptional

Me and my partner went here on a Thursday evening it was quiet which was nice for me as I do lack confidence in going out for a meal. We booked online which was easy. The drinks we asked for arrived quick but not how we asked for them as I got a different tonic to what I asked and my partner got a bottle of full fat coke rather than diet coke and in a glass bottle instead of just a glass. We asked to move tables as we were placed on the end next to the waitresses desk/till and there were 2-3 girls just standing around waiting for orders etc and this made me feel uncomfortable as I felt as I was being watched and in the way of their privately conversation. Another waitress was back and forth helping us move tables and made sure we are comfortable The food was tasty, warm and served quick. They had a variety of starters, mains, deserts, drinks, children's, vegan and vegetarian options. They also have offers on during the week which I have attached for you. Toilets are available. I would say wheelchair and pushchair accessible however the floor levels change and feel on an angle. Outside seating available. Parking outside

Service was not good from the blonde hair waitress on sat Jun 25th very inattentive we waited 2 hours to get done, there with 3 of us. Waited 45 mins for a pizza, burger, and another burger to come out when the place wasn't busy. The food defiantly was not fresh most defiantly frozen. She threw a temper tantrum about the card machine not working in front of another customer. We decided to get desert see if they was going to be good unlike the food and it was obvious that it came from Asda the waffles and ice cream as we buy them for our daughter. We then had to wait another 30 mins for our bill even though she kept passing by looking at us finished with no drinks, plates nothing on our table we had to ask the manager guy I assume he was for our check. Β£57 for 3 of us defiantly was not worth it at all. Atleast get attentive waitress that does her job well and happy. And some fresh food. No need to wait 2 hours in a PUB to get done start to finish which wasn't us just eating this long took that long for food, drinks, ordering, desert , check that it was just rediculous. Could be a good little pub instead they serve gross not fresh food and hire a waitress that clearly isnt even attentive with her job. Even other tables near us looked very frustrated with it as they where also waiting for there check for like 30 mins after they finished eating also.

While staying with friends we visited the Coach & Horses, good selection to choose from the menu all at reasonable prices, we all choose something different and enjoyed, a member of the staff was very helpful explaining some of the wines we enquired about. Would return when in the area.
