   Visited for lunch based on a recommendation, and we were not dissapointed. The food was delicious and great value. The staff were all friendly and gave great service. The pub itself had a great atmosphere and felt warm and cosy. We would definitely recommend and will be back soon.

   I came here today with family. Car park is very small so parking can be a little difficult. We opted for the roast which was extremely tasty and hot. The food is very reasonably priced. I had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert (it was nice but very sweet). Overall, I'd say this is a nice place that deserves a visit!

   First time at this pub and it was amazing. Staff were all very friendly and efficient and the pub was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The carvery was amazing and the price really good. Meats all good, the best yorkshire puddings I've had in a pub and lovely fresh veg. Already booked to go back!

   1st time I've been here, went with my sister and our bestfriend Suzanne. Honestly had the best meal ! Such good value for money. Will deffo recommend and will be going again. Was quite busy but that never impacted our service to our table from being seated to taking drink and food order to be served our meals. Wonderful!

   10/10 we went for mother's day 8 adults 3 teenagers a toddler and a baby the service was excellent nothing was too much trouble. 3 course's for most and all ate at the same time!! Carvery was fresh and a quick queue, same with off the menu items. For such a busy day all staff were in good spirits and even the one issue raised was dealt with instantly would not hesitate to book again some establishment's don't have the staff on busy days and food all over the place this was a lovely day and a credit to the whole team, Thankyou from us all you made mother's day special and there were 4 on the table so well done

   This weekend we celebrated our friends 40th Birthday with a bottomless brunch. The Old Crown team were extremely helpful in making the afternoon a complete success. Our waitress Sharon was amazing and went above and beyond. From the moment we arrived Sharon helped us set up the tables, made fancy napkins and provided glasses for a toast ready for when our guest of honour arrived. The food was delicious, our glasses were refilled as soon as they were emptied. We handed the cake to Sharon and she completely took care of everything. A massive thank you to Sharon and the team at the Old Crown.

   I think it’s important to inform everybody that this establishment is one not to miss.I have eaten in restaurants/Pubs throughout England and Europe and I can honestly say that the menu here is perfected to a high standard. I believe the food quality and menu ideas make an excellent meal and the prices are just unbeatable when It Comes to talking about a menu with this much class. I just want to thank the chef for making sure everything is cooked fresh and great feasting.I do have a special mention for the waitress Sharon who made sure we were met properly at the door and made us feel at home,she described the menu items to us and helped us with recommendations and she sure wasn’t wrong. She couldn’t do enough for us and brought some banter and some chat along with the experience,In my opinion the level of service she gave us I’m surprised she isn’t a supervisor and I do hope she is valued by this establishment. Thank you again and I will be back in October!!!
