The food is okay but there menus is totally different we order veg sizzl and this what we received and so greasy too much
Ordered parathas, daal makhni and tandoori roti… Food arrived timely and fresh. Highly recommended and true Punjabi taste. Prices are very reasonable and staff is very amicable.
The restaurant is not clean. The staff never smiled and was not very welcoming. Taste of the food is good (above average). I would recommend take-away option.
We had parathas yesterday liked them. Take away menu was given to us. We ordered for today to take away. Lady called Jas did not mention at all that prices were incorrect . Menu prices were not update was excuse of charging. Yogurt was not given when i checked the take away bag. Jas then mentioned did not know what i had got in take away. But what to charge was totally accurate. Not surprised.
Really nice food! After mixed reviews, we weren't sure what to expect but we enjoyed it and will try other things on the menu soon. We had the desi Bakra, roti and chilly fish all of which were tasty and came in super generous portions. However, service could be faster and the ambience could improve.
If you are missing home cooked food or craving authentic Indian food then please do visit this place. The Chole bhature are best on town
My 6 years old make better paratha than this... un cooked un aligned and no taste waste of money to be very very honest.
Very disappointed with the quality they have downgraded. Served us aloo pranthas which they made it in the morning with a small butter on top. In addition , owner is not accepting that he made it in the morning, he keeps on telling us that its fresh!!! we didn't asked for the Takeway that he had given us pranthas which was made in morning. We sat in the restaurant and they should have freshly made at that point ... Very disappointed, came after 15 years , will never come back and recommend anyone .. to the owner- pls go to Nakodar sweet shop in Soho road Birmingham,you will see the quality of paranthas they serve .
Pre cooked chicken tikka served up only partially reheated. The meal was only lukewarm and cold in places. Health and safety take note. Chef needs advice on the dangers of serving partially reheated chicken. Food poisoning waiting to happen. Used to be a regular but I won’t be back. Best avoid this place.
Genuine Punjabi food, clean and family friendly place. Happy & welcoming staff. Paratha's were outstanding. Do ask for day specials, they make more variety of paratha's than those mentioned on menu so ask if they can custom make for you!! Happy & welcoming staff.
