   The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing, the new decor also looks pretty good. The service was good, we didn't have to wait long before being seated and having our order taken. The best thing by far however was the quality of the meat/ chicken. The lamb and chicken sheesh, the lamb chops and and lamb ribs were all very soft and juicy, something which is hard to come by nowadays. The mixed Turkish & Afghan platter in general was amazing! The lamh karahi also tasted really good, had an authentic afghan taste to it. I would definitely recommend this place to all, and I'm not sure why there are some reviews slating this place, they seem to be disingenuous.

   Formerly Taksim and now rebranded to Afghan Turkish restaurant. Only re opened about 2 weeks ago, visited today with the family, the interior is confusing, overstimulating & random, so many different colours, so many different lights, the decor was embarrassing but not as embarrassing as the customer service. We arrived at 7:10pm, there was about 2 waiters for 50-60 guests, by 7:35 we still hadn’t had our orders taken, had to actually call up the restaurant via phone and ask them to come to our table within the restaurant, staff don’t have any idea what is what on the menu as it seems no training has been given to them at all, we waited till 7:55pm and still no food, no drinks and not even some small bread and dip to nibble on while we waited, all the waiters seemed confused and disorientated….probably from all the bright disco lights, it hit 8:05pm and we decided to get up and leave at this point and go to pamir restaurant down the road which was fantastic service, great tasty food & nice warm interior. I do not recommend this place unless you have at least 3-4 hours to waste on a dinner and nowhere to be.

   I had to wait at least 30 minutes before anyone came over to give me a menu. I ordered the mixed kebabs, but it was mostly just chicken wings. The soup was overly oily, and although the restaurant is quite large—about 300 meters—there were only two waiters serving the entire space. The tea was cold, and the flavors of the other dishes were just average at best. Overall, I wouldn’t eat there again. The service was poor, and the prices were too high for what was offered.

   Onest opinion and I don't have friends or relatives who work there. Turkish food made with love and passion, The grill meat is SuperB, bear in mind it's medium as medium as the mediterraneans always do that. However, salads-lack of seasoning, maybe lime zest and lime, thime.

   Couldn't of asked for a better experience Well start off with the food, Amazing!! The flavour was great, smokiness of the grill infused with the meat. It was moist, not dry at all. The portion size was great. Great selection of meats. The Tea was amazing. Baklava was sweet & a nice portion to round of the meal. Atmosphere was brilliant. Weirdly enough felt we was back in Turkey lol. Staff were friendly ans welcoming, always on hand to assist with more orders and fill up on drinks if asked. Will definitely be going back. 5* for a great meal.

   I usually love ordering from here but I found plastic in my food and the wings were uncooked and pink which would’ve got consumed if I hadn’t noticed it. I will not be ordering from here again as they have done nothing about my complaint and have not responded at all to Deliveroo. I will be getting in touch with the environmental health and taking action.

   Marvellous! Absolutely Marvellous! Had a Birthday celebration here and the food was sooooo good, the service was excellent and I totally loved the lighting in this restaurant. Everything is charcoal grilled so it has that roasted flavour that takes me back home to Nigeria, West Africa. The food is Flavorful with just the right kind of spicy! The manager (Mohammed) was such a delight. He was patient (our group arrived a lot later due to miscommunication and he was so understanding), attentive and just all round wonderful! For the number of people we brought it, you would think they would mess up our order, but NOPE! Very attentive staff. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we will surely return for more! It was our first time and we were not disappointed! Reasonably priced meals and massive portions! The group platter is a super money saver. Due to confidentiality, I can't share the group's spread but it was marvellous! Please go see for yourself! If you like avocados try the Avocado Hamolli salad (first picture)
