Have had a takeaway a couple of times now as my son lives in the village and its been the worst chinese food I have ever had each time so will not be eating from here again.
Arguably worse one we’ve had and we take out most weeks. Worrying decline since the change of owners, standards need to improve before we return, such a shame as it was so good before
AWFUL! The place has Covid restrictions still in place (hazard tape and plastic screens) feels very hostile. CASH ONLY. Food was the worst Chinese I’ve eaten. Chicken didn’t resemble meat at all, rice was sloppy and tasteless. Chips clearly had been recooked and were so hard they could chip my teeth. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Good food, tasty, fab portions, very reasonable prices! 4 main dishes, plus mushrooms, vegetable spring rolls, and prawn crackers for less than £30. Would have liked to be able to order a pot of Oyster Sauce on its own though. Will definitely revisit.

One star is a generous review, firstly the food was so bland I was more excited to write this review then eat my meal this is the first Chinese takeaway I’ve come across that is scared to use salt, secondly the salt and pepper chips might aswell be named a slice of carrot and onion chips woeful performance from the chef no chilli soy sauce salt pepper nothing just frozen chips carrot and onion ridiculous I would highly recommend taking the extra 5 min drive to aldi and buying a frozen curry meal as it would have more taste.
The food was really good, we'll definitely go again. It's cash only which is annoying but now we know it won't be much of an issue.

Delicious food! Great flavour I'm really funny with any meat but there was no fat or griessel in sight! Lovely staff, I've found our perfect Chinese takeaway. Thanks again for a scrummy meal. We will definitely be back for more.
