   Seems they have never sorted their delivery problems out. Waiting 2+ hours for delivery with no courtesy call on where the order is or how long it will be. Lost another customer as we will take our business elsewhere now.

   Similar to another recent review on here, multiple late deliveries with 2+ hour delivery times when the indication online was around an hour. On this occasion the order was placed at 6:30pm and wasn’t received until 8:55pm No courtesy call to let us know about a delay, instead we had to chase. It was a further 55 minutes wait after this. 100% will be taking our business elsewhere.

   After several late deliveries we've finally given up on what once the best Chinese around. Food now is average, expensive but more than anything is the 2+ hours you have to wait for it to be delivered. Always have to call them to see where the food is, always 'on its way' to still have to wait a further 30 minutes. If you're hungry, value your hard earned money and cant wait hours to eat then this place isn't for you.

   Food is delicious from here, but placing an order just after 6pm, then having to call to see where it is at 8pm to be told the driver isn’t back from the last delivery isn’t on! Rang back at 8:30pm and cancelled our order. If we had received a courtesy call to say how late it was going to be we could’ve ordered from somewhere else. 2 and a half hours for food that would probably arrive cold isn’t on. My husband has now refused to order from here again, and it’s such a shame because the food is really nice :(

   Service was excellent, value for money was on the poor side. Crispy chicken was very crispy even after a drive home but seems to lack salt and pepper flavour. Chips also have alot of room for improvement, also had a very sparse amount of salt and pepper flavour or veg in them for the money(a few bits of the outer skin of an onion and a few bits of carrot). Would probably order again on the merit of the service being very good but my first impressions of the food are mediocre compared to other places locally

   Rubbish portion sizes for the price, we paid £32. The meat in the fried rice was dry and didn't look fresh and the salt and pepper box was not worth the money (3 dry king prawns and some chips) We rang and complained but excuses were made with no solution. Not a fan.

   What has happened to this place? Once an amazing place to eat - both takeaway and restaurant but now I would call it average at best. The food (our takeaway) was tasteless and cold! After 3 minutes in the microwave, one mouthful was enough for it to go in the bin. The Royal Eastern was once the best Chinese takeaway I’d ever had, it is now somewhere I will avoid.
