The Cod or Haddock chips and peas were all delicious. Lovely clean restaurant and friendly staff. We've recently moved to the area, this fish and chips shop is excellent for eating in or takeaway.
Best fish and chips ever. My grandma had a fish cake and she said it was beautiful and me and my dad had lightly battered fish which were cooked perfectly. The fish were perfect size, maybe even a bit too big (but when is that ever a problem). The staff were also lovely and made sure the order spot on. I’ll be coming back soon!
An organised well run establishment. I have visited here over many years but never the restaurant. It was decorated with green chairs! and tonal brown tables. The staff serving me were very pleasant and efficient. Served within a good timescale too. The fish and chips were hot and very tasty too. I also obtained a diet coke [with ice and lemon no less!] The fish tasted succulent and fell apart on eating it / beautiful !!! I feel a little petty only leaving for stars for food. It was tasty and hot. My little quibble was that the steak pudding was put directly into the takeaway box upside down directly onto the paper base and not on greaseproof paper. As a result, it stuck to the box, and the lid of the pudding came off, spreading the contents and I had to scrape it off the container.
Nice fish and chips. They have an eat in restaurant and takeaway. Food was okay but portion could have been bigger for the price.

Have eaten take-away from here for many years. My partner needs gluten-free and it's always been available to ring through first. The gluten free food is always prepared fresh to order. Other family members order from the usual menu and in the event there has ever been an issue with the order, it has always been sorted out without a problem. Sadly the parking was removed by the council right outside the restaurant but there is a pay and display car park and limited parking from the other side in town centre. Certainly recommend a visit but ring through at busy times to avoid a queue.
Some of the best sausage and chips I've had for a long time. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, the staff friendly and efficient, and the food tasty and fresh. Those I was with who had fish said they enjoyed it. The facilities were also clean and well maintained. If I lived nearer I'd have chips from here every few weeks. Highly recommended.
Excellent fish and chips hardly if any grease, love the spam fritters here. Bit dissapointed with the amount of grease on a special though, will stick to normal sized fish in future
