    The service here is always great - the guys that run it are friendly and knowledgeable. The food is delicious and the menu is huge and varied. There’s a good choice of standard and speciality curries so there’s always something new to try even if you’re a seasoned curry aficionado. I quite like the decor (it’s very typical of an Indian restaurant!), the seating is comfortable and the restaurant is always spotless. It’s also air conditioned / heated so always comfortable even in the height of summer or when it’s busy which it often is. You can bring your own alcohol (they don’t sell any), but you can buy soft drinks. Again there is a good range. The only draw back to this place is the restaurant itself is up some steep stairs, and the toilets are up some steep stairs again so it isn’t very accessible.

    The sheet kebab was delicious. The tikka masala was the worst I've ever eaten. It was chunks of bland unmarinated chicken, not tikka. It was in a sweet pink runny coconut gravy. Korma not masala. wouldn't recommend. The garlic rice had a tang like a microwave pouch, and didn't taste of garlic at all.

    The Balti Hut is a good place for a nice tasting curry with pleasant service. The seating area is clean, well lit with a modern decoration. The seating would be even better if they could create more space between the tables. Food tastes good with a very varied menu on offer. The restaurant is setup for smaller groups and large groups can sometimes find service is slower and food quality can suffer. Overall a good curry restaurant for a small town but remember to take your own drinks it has no license to serve alcohol.

    Cosy atmosphere with a large menu. We were seated in a very tight space where everyone had to move out if one needed the toilet. Also, I found the meat in my dish a little dry, despite it being in a rich sauce. The staff were super friendly though and accommodated even the most intoxicated in the party. I thought the "bring your own" drinks were a fantastic idea!
