This place does not exist. We tried phoning over and over and eventually went there to find no trace of it. There is a fish and chip shop called Atlantic Diamond (very good chippy!), a Costcutter and a parcel collection point.
It is my first time ordering from Shapla. The food was delicious. I had prawn and spinach curry & a mushroom rice with 2 chapattis. The owner was polite and friendly and told me about the loyalty stamps. I will definitely return again.
Me and my sister ordered this for the first time today after a recommendation from our mum. By far the best Indian takeaway we've both had, the food was delicious. The delivery man was lovely as well ! All in all a great experience, we look forward to ordering from here again in the future.

Visited Shapla for the first time last night as wanted to try and new takeaway curry. It was superb. Best we’ve had for a while and will be my go to now. All dishes were cooked fresh and full of flavour. We had 2 vegetarian curries, naan bread, mixed starter and rice. I’ll be trying the chicken hydrabadi next time after speaking to the owner.
Tonight was the first time we have used this takeaway. Can honestly say the food was absolutely fabulous, quality ingredients and wonderful flavours. The owners are a lovely family who are very pleasant and helpful. We will certainly go back. Highly recommended.
Sorry but I am doubtful with some of the responses here. I used this takeway a number of times when it was Ali's Kitchen. Since the change there is just no comparison. I have tried 3 separate dishes now and all very average. They might have considered using the chef(s) from Ali's Kitchen and the ethos as the dishes that I had under Ali's Kitchen were truly delicious and made with some care. Chicken that melted in the mouth, sauces that were distinctive, packed with flavour and ingredients other than just chilli and powdered spices. Even the rice was far better. Ali's Kitchen was definitely the best takeaway in Huddersfield while it lasted. Sadly Shapla is not...not at this time anyway unless they improve vastly.
