   One of the male staff was very rude when handing me my order. My burger did not have the add ons I requested. Overall very poor quality service.

   I had to check my wallet upon exiting this Burger King, as it felt like an absolute scam. After not eating at a Burger King for a few years now (probably a good idea with hindsight) I thought it was a good idea to try the Cardiff Gate establishment. Upon arrival to the order screen, many products were out of stock. Ketchup, BBQ Sauce, Dr Pepper and the entire hot drinks menu to name a few. A disappointing start. Nonetheless, I decided to try a few flagship products. I'm not somebody you would classify as a food snob by any means. Cheap and cheerful usually takes preference. However, in paying £15 or more for a single burger meal, surely one can expect something half decent. The burger i received had an extremely damp bottom bun, to the point of where my hands got wet from picking it up. The patties were your typical hockey puck fast food "burgers" with the selling point of the flame grilling initially tasting pleasant but getting old quickly. Cheese was melted but was of the American variety. Here's the big issue. These burgers are almost indentical to what you can get on the McDonald's saver menu, but for double or triple the price. The only reason I'm not giving it 1 star is because the staff were pleasant upon the brief dealings with them. Don't make my mistake, save your custom for the KFC next door.

   Food is average at best. Speed of service is definitely not classed as fast food. Took 20 mins to serve me their only customer Shocking Burger King Experience!!! Better off with KFC next door!!

   We were second person in line to order and it took them 25 minutes to make four hamburgers. Seriously in that 25 minutes only two other people got food, one was the guy who ordered before us and the other was a guy who ordered after us but it was just a single item of chicken fries. Three employees working so no reason for it to take 25 minutes. Hamburgers were great no complaints there but all four fries were hot, but still crunchy and a bit raw inside. Finally got our food after 25 minutes and was missing our specialty fry. Seriously, we stopped because we were traveling and hungry and wanted something quick to get back on road, but we could’ve been home faster than they got us our food.

   Food was fresh and tasted lovely but the highlight for me was a staff member called Callum. His customer service skills are outstanding, what a lovely guy! I wish everywhere had staff members like Callum, he really brightens up your day!

   Great service even when I returned my burger as it was clearly overdone. The staff dealt with it promptly & efficiently. Ryan was particularly attentive ensuring we were ok whilst a fresh burger was prepared and offered us complimentary fries/drinks. Good customer service from the team. The second burger was spot on!! Thanks guys

   The only positive thing I have to say for this Burger King was that my order was correct. I waited an exceptionally long time, with no one ahead of us in the queue, yet our fries were cold, and the onion rings barely cooked. We witnessed the staff purposefully ignore further customers (we had ordered through the touch screens before they closed these) and they were just having chats with their mates rather than do any work. I received a very flat ‘sorry for the wait’ when our food was eventually ready. Why do people not seem to care about their jobs anymore?! I would not visit here again. Ever.

   Long wait for food as of course it's super busy. They need to be more careful about allergy warnings when they serve burgers in brioche buns. If you're lactose intolerant you can request a plain sesame bun instead. This information deserves to be mounted on a bigger board rather than be an after thought footnote on a backlit digital sign. However an additional burger was supplied free of charge when it was pointed out that the original one couldn't be eaten. There's a supply shortage it seems everywhere at the moment.
