Wonderful restaurant! This place was absolutely full on a Wednesday night! Absolutely buzzing atmosphere and delicious, fresh food. My new fav place. Can’t wait to return. Thank you!

Great place with a great atmosphere. Staff are quick, friendly and effective. Had the Chicken Pakora for starter which seemed a bit overcooked, but was still edible. Lamb Pathia was perfect, would recommended the Pathia. Very good prices for the area. Book in advance as every table was taken upon arrival.

Wow what a place….firstly I’ll add that we dropped into this establishment as a last minute search for some Indian cuisine. From the outside it looked enticing so we ventured in and was greeted by very friendly staff that were more than happy to seat us without a booking on a somewhat busy Friday night. As a super fan of Indian mixed grills this was go to choice on the menu that offered a huge variety of Indian foods. On top of that a chicken curry was ordered along with the usual naan bread and poppadoms etc. Firstly we were given the drinks menu and my choice was a 660ml bottle of cobra at £5.95 which I thought was a very reasonable price, also a bottle of white Sauvignon blanc at £19.50 so all in all not a bad total so far. The food came quick but not quick enough to hint that it was pre-heated so that’s always a bonus with me. My partner who has a nut allergy had amazing service when it came to the care for the requirements that she needs. The main was delicious and cooked to perfection, well presented and hit the spot. We decided not to go for the desert option although there was plenty to choose from as was the starters. All in all everything ticked every box for us on a meal that was for our anniversary. Knowle holds a jewel in the crown for beauty and this establishment holds the crown for Indian food. A special shout out to the manager Mashuk who made our visit very special.

Very disappointing. Although we had made a reservation we waited over 15 before we were seated and then over an hour before our order arrived, despite seeing multiple takeaway orders going out. It was clear the place was overstretched and unable to cope at peak time on a Saturday evening. When our dishes arrived most were lukewarm and included some strange interpretations of "classic" Indian dishes. The staff responded well to our complaints but it's very, very unlikely we'll be returning any time soon. I think there are other better options in Knowle and nearby.

Excellent service and price. Photos are Spicy desi wrap (starter), poppadums, naga chicken, keema naan, bhajis and coconut rice. Portions were extremely generous and, albeit very slightly oily, the keema naan was the best I have had in a long time. There just over an hour in total, solo dining.

Was seated at a small table for 5, food just kept on coming when we ran out of room on the table but no one cared. One member of staff was standing by the front doors yawning with no hand movement. Wouldn't rush back.

Amazing food every time from this place. Only downfall is staff linger around your table while you eat. Can be quite annoying at times, but the food and service is always usually on point xx

If I could give this place zero stars I would… The food was below average and took far too long to arrive… However this isn’t my main issue… the waiters were extremely rude and unprofessional. The menus were snatched out of our hands and we were spoken to in a rude manner when we didn’t answer the waiter straight away when they asked us questions when we were already engaged in private conversations. Save your money and go elsewhere as this place really isn’t worth it

First time there with a large party (18). Efficient without been pushy. Will go back again in the New Year. Sometimes when you are with a large group it is hard to judge the food and service because you are wrapped in conversations and things that are going on in your group. Certainly worth a second visit.

Got bored of queueing on the M42 and found this lovely place open early. I was impressed immediately by the staff sweeping the pavement outside. It only got better from there. Attentive staff, beautiful food, lovely surroundings, attention to detail and reasonable prices. Get off the motorway an get here.
