   We have been going to the rahil for so many years and honestly We went somewhere else to try it, and it had nothing on the rahil so straight back We went!    There’s a lot to say for this place I will make it simple !!! Excellent service, courteous waiting staff, knowledgeable staff. Comfortable seating and plenty of table space, excellent atmosphere. Food arrived promptly and looked inviting, tasted just as delicious if not better in-fact we had to order some takeaways to go with for the next day. Plenty of flavour, tasted very nice indeed. Sufficient quantities of all food requested. Payment was very acceptable, good prices. We four thouroughly enjoyed our visit to Rahil Tandoori , will be returning. THANK YOU MR NAZRUL FOR YOUR EXCELLENT SERVICE.

   I've been a loyal customer of Rahil Tandoori for nearly 16 years, and my experiences have consistently been positive. Recently, there was an unfortunate incident involving a customer who felt that the restaurant's staff was unjustly cautious regarding their medical needs. While I sympathize with their situation, I believe it's crucial to understand that the restaurant is prioritizing safety and well-being for all its patrons. The owner shared that they've been in business for 18 years and have only encountered one disgruntled customer in that time—a remarkable track record in the restaurant industry! This speaks volumes about the dedication and quality of service the team provides. Every visit to Rahil Tandoori has been a delight, not just for the delicious food but also for the warm welcome and playful banter from the staff. It's disheartening to see one negative experience overshadow the many positive ones shared by countless customers. On my recent visit, the restaurant was bustling with patrons enjoying their meals, a testament to the hard work and commitment of the team. Instead of focusing on one isolated incident, I encourage everyone to experience the welcoming atmosphere and fantastic food for themselves. Wishing Rahil Tandoori continued success for many years to come! Don’t let negativity cloud the truth of a wonderful dining experience.

   The restaurant had a chill vibe to it. We did go quite late and there weren't as many people which was good for us. The staff was very friendly and involved themselves in conversations with us. Food was very very aromatic and different to anywhere else I've had this dish before. I had Karahi chicken and I did find that it was on the spicy side. It is meant to be a medium dish and I felt like my mouth was on fire when had it here. The staff offered to make it milder as they did see I was struggling and they did this by adding coconut milk to it I believe and also some sort of sweetner which slightly changed everything the dish overall as it then turned into a sweet curry, similar to korma which I am not a fan off but it was say 20% like a Korma so not too bad. I really liked the dish I had though minus the spiciness level but I have been told that this is normally how spicy this dish should be so maybe everywhere else that I've had it, may have watered it down. Regardless of this, I think it's a great restaurant to go to and would recommend you check it out!

   Average food. Forgot some items. Was funny about using different cards to pay because it costs them. Fair enough, but not our problem. Some cash paid, didn't bring all the change over, just the pounds... I guess they decided people won't notice and pocket the change when they can. Clearing off the whole table when people still eating. And the weirdest moment was when my friend was brought his chips, then a minute or so later, the guy came back out with only one small chip in is fingers(!) and chucked (no exaggeration) it on to his bowl of chips (at which point it fell out of the bowl anyway)... Sooo... Where's the chip come from? Why are you using your fingers? And why did you think that that one small chip HAD to be brought out and added to the other chips. Weird. General consensus from us all was that we won't bother with this restaurant again.

   Food is lovely here, however the service can be very hit and miss. I ordered a take away(to collect) which I was told would be half and hour, when I get there its busy and I make myself known to the guy at the counter that I'm here to collect my order. I then have to wait another half an hour for it to come out. So half and hour has now turned into an hour, in all fairness I was apologised to for the wait. I get my stuff and then drive home. Its a good 10 mins back to my house as we live at the other end of Barry. We start to take everything out of the bag and the chips are missing, by this point I'm starving and can't be arsed to drive all the way back for someing that I've been charged for, and I want going to phone up and wait until they brought me something. In future I will check everything before Ieave as they can't be trusted when it's busy, this is not the 1st time that this has happened to me here either. Food still tastes great though.

   An undiscovered treasure. First visit and won’t be our last. Very warm, friendly welcome. Good service, neither rushed or slow. Food was delicious / generous portion and all came to table piping hot. Loved the condiment trays they used for chutneys (and the chutneys themselves). Meal wrapped up with hot lemon towels for your hands. Bill came with a little chocolate sweet and, a complimentary liqueur. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
