£41.25 on literally the worst fish & chips I've ever had, fish was tiny soggy and tasteless, and chips were average at best. Best thing tbh was the curry sauce and Dr pepper. If you want decent fish an chips go to Jones in Newport.
A review worth sharing, yesterday (Summer bank holiday) I must say the care and quality of food throughout the crowds myself (gluten free) was very pleased to see the offer of GF and to be able to eat, enjoy with family was very pleasing. Quality of GF I must say BEST FISH AND CHIPS I have had period! Shame it’s a 2 hour journey haha. Hearing locals in cue saying they’ve tried all in Barry and this was the ONE. Was reassuring, will be back!
Outstanding chips - just perfection! Delicious! We'll go back and try the F&C as that looked excellent too. Indoor and outdoor basic seating. Dog friendly and right on the beach. What's not to like!
Could not walk past and not buy, lovely chippy smells, we had a fish and chips which we shared as it was quite large, and cooked fresh. Staff very chatty and friendly and place looked lovely and clean, beautiful views while you eat.
Popped in for sausage and chips, plus similar for family (apart from Daughters odd combo of Cheesy Chips and then added gravy!?!?!). Sat in as a bit wet and cold outside. Great service and food. We would go again. Thank you.

Love Boofys!! Go there everytime we are at Barry Island. The chips are gorgeous. Can't beat them - right by the seaside. With a pot of curry sauce. Delicious!!
Fresh fish and chips. Curry sauce was very tasty. Gravy was a bit too salty for my tastes. Fish was beautiful!
Lovely fresh cooked cod & chips, thin and crisp batter. The veggie hotdog was very nice too. The chips were perfect, not soggy and not over cooked. The curry sauce was lovely and thick with a good curry flavour to it & the mushy peas were perfect.
