Had a fabulous meal here today party of 25 . The waiters and waitress were extremely professional and very quick. The manager was amazing checked we were all satisfied. I would definitely recommend it here lovely atmosphere too. Lovely evening thank you
I’m only commenting on restaurant. It’s a beautiful restaurant and beautifully designed with nice artwork. Drinks were good quality, deserts were nice. Staff were lovely. I didn’t really like my lamb as it wasn’t well made. It was rare and I wasn’t asked how I want it to be made. Fish was a bit too greasy. The rest of food was nice according to my family.

The food here was delicious! We were a party of 12 but the food came out quickly and was superb. It was well presented and very tasty. The portion sizes were substantial too. I didn’t have room for dessert but when the menu came out I couldn’t resist! The staff were really welcoming and friendly and the venue light and airy. It was a great venue for a family gathering.
This was delicious! I had the Stilton & Asparagus Pie which was amazing. The pastry was flaky and crispy, it came with peas and gravy and you could choose the potato type. I chose rustic chips and they may be the nicest chips I’ve ever had! The staff are so friendly and can’t help you enough. The car park can be a bit difficult to find, it’s around the back of the venue, up Greenwood Lane (it says it’s a dead end but you turn off into the car park). Make sure to put your number plate in when you get into the venue!

The second midday meal at the Old Post House and a second great meal. It's a little gem. Service is good, food is great, and the atmosphere is great. Cracking little deli on the side to shop in after you eat. Evening meal is also great. Price is very good. We will be going back soon.
Afternoon Tea I organised afternoon tea for 30 people and it was amazing. Great food, great service, the staff couldn’t do enough. I’ve even booked our Christmas Meal for the same amount of people. I would highly recommend this place and will be back for afternoon tea again. AmandaTucker 6/10/22
We used Old Post House for our wedding in July, booking a year in advance. From day one there was no question left unanswered. Our coordinator switched part way through from Cheralyn to Faye and the transition was barely noticeable as it was so smooth. The day came and the rooms were great, the reception was fantastic. Food was amazing. We were thoroughly looked after. 100% would recommend.
