Ordered two Pork souvlaki in the middle of the day. (Not busy) The food was cold, feta was bitter and everything was dry. Such a shame.
Disappointing. £18.50 for a few chunks of tough (admittedly tasty) meat in a pitta bread with a paltry portion of flavourless "oregano" fries. Ordered the mixed souvlaki, that, according to the image on the menu, had halloumi in, but was nowhere to be seen... I think they need to knock the delivery on the head and stick to being a "dine-in" experience to keep their reputation from sliding.
Love eating here. Used to eat from them when they used to do pop ups. Really tasty and filling. Doesn’t leave you feeling bloated and urgh.
Good shed was a great experience, I chose Meat and Greek. Pitta and filling was nice, but there could have been more chicken and pork souvlaki in it!
Newport market.. quite frankly disappointed in this salad bowel as i was quite excited to try it ..however the pork was really dry!!! Chicken wasn’t that bad but the pork was chewy and hard to eat.. to point where I couldn’t even finish it i spent at least £13 on it so not really happy..
I had the pork souvlaki and my partner had the chicken souvlaki, plus a portion of the greeks in blankets (a highly tasty Greek take on pigs in blankets). Tasty and filling food, guys on the stall in Newport market really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning
Had chicken souvlaki at the Newport market recently and was pretty underwhelmed. The salad was all fresh and very tasty, as were the humus and tzatziki. The pitta was OK, but nothing special. The chicken though was dry and tasteless. It was served cold in just a paper bag which meant it couldn't be put down without everything spilling out. the pitta then split along the bottom which meant I had to pick bits out with a fork. Perhaps acceptable if it was £4 or £5, but for £9 I expected something better.
Like some previous reviews, food arrived stone cold; 2 chicken souvlaki and chips. On the tracker a driver was assigned then disappeared for another one to be assigned. Good flavours, cold food. Won't order again. Very disappointing, not even a contact number for the business is available. Poor business model.
Arrived at the good sheds placed order online, we had the surprise to realize that no one in the kitchen, they all sat in the sun. Finally the chef started cooking without even washing his hands who really put us off big time especially when you got an open kitchen and see everything, we had 2 chicken souvlaki, chicken was that big that we had to cut it ourselves, no taste at all, very cold. after serving our dishes the chefs came out the kitchen and took their place again in the sun, overall really bad experience really expensive, never come back!!!!
