Wow… just wow! If you love Indian food, Mango Tree in Whitchurch is the place you need to try. Honestly, every bite was a flavour explosion. The Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy and packed with spice (but not too much), and the Hyderabad Chicken? Absolutely unreal tender, juicy, and full of rich, aromatic flavours. The starters were next-level too. I had the Chicken Chaat, and it was tangy, spicy, and addictive. Paired with their Garlic Naan and Keema Rice, I was in food heaven. The vibe is super cozy – perfect for a chilled night out or even a date. The staff are so friendly and make you feel like you’re part of the family. And the prices? Honestly, for the quality and portion sizes, it’s a steal. If you’re in Cardiff and haven’t been yet, you’re missing out. Trust me, this is the kind of place you’ll want to go back to again and again.
Had a friend's night out at The Mango Tree. We were seated straight away and were asked what we would like to drink and given menus. We all had starters and mains, and of course the poppadoms and chuckles. All of it was amazing, very tasty and big portions, and service was excellent and friendly. Well worth a visit and will be going there again. I would definitely recommend this place.
Myself and my son had the “Thursday buffet” today, this place has become our go to Indian restaurant/takeaway. It was any starter, any main, any rice, any nann and ice cream to finish. I had a bottle of “Roar beer” my son had a bottle of magners & a single JD with coke and it all came to under £50! Thank you to Abdul & his team we will see you soon.

Been coming here for last 18 months and can honestly say this is one of the best restaurants around. Delicious, good sized portions, reasonably priced and great service. Keep it up!
Ordered last night, ordered 2 different curries, one medium/hot and one mild - both sadly were pretty bad. Quite bland, not a lot of flavour or spice. Neither of us bothered to finish our meals. Bhajees weren't any different to supermarket ones and the mint sauce was like water. All in all quite disappointing and a waste of money. Back to mowglis it is.
