I met friends for a meal and was very impressed! The food was delicious especially the Classic Lasagne and Grilled Courgette & Goat's Cheese pizzetta. The service was flawless; the team made us feel welcome and checked in without being intrusive. Plus, the whole place had a lovely atmosphere. I'll definitely be back for another visit.

I came in and wondered a bit until someone asked me if I want a table, then they greeted me and took me to a table hidden around the corner saying that their night is fully booked(which didn’t seem like it as I have finished two meals and the place was still relatively empty). Music - a mix of old and new comercial pop, which didn't really create a specific atmosphere. I sat down and ordered a Calamari starter and a Chicken and chorizo risotto accompanied by a medium Shiraz wine. Loved the Calamari. The risotto was more al dente and was leaving behind oil, also it wasn’t creamy as I’ve experienced in other Italian restaurants and it was a bit hard to eat. I have been asked if I want cheese on it and the waitress girl came from the kitchen with the cheese in her bare hand, grated me some cheese until I signed to stop and then she left as in a hurry to serve other people, making a trace of cheese on the table as she flew away. The service was ok, though somehow preferential to other people, as if being alone wasn’t really making me worthy as a customer while I observed she and her colleague was asking customers if the food is alright, so no consistency in service. Overall, a medium rating for a medium to low service but hopefully this review will change something.

Very welcoming hostess, relaxed atmosphere, and quite a few vegan options. We both had the vegan lasagne, and it was delicious.

Nice restaurant setting with comfortable seating areas. Food was good quality. I had a steak and cheese sourdough sandwich with chips, and the other dish was a pasta dish with a red sauce and salad ( I can't remember its name ) Along with a Tiramasu espresso martini and a fruit punch mocktail. ( Not 100% sure of that's its name ) Staff were well mannered and friendly. Didn't have to wait too long for drinks and food to be served. But I feel if it was busy, you'd be waiting maybe a little longer than you'd want. The cocktail and mocktail were very nice and I'd have again. Along with the food good decent quality. But...... unfortunately, I dont feel they offer value for money. For the quality and quantity of the food, the price point was a tad too high. For 2 drinks and 2 mains it was a few pence short of Β£50 ( This included a 10% service charge. ) For example it's about about Β£5 for a side of chips with your main. ( large handful at best.) I'd expect for that for the chips to be included in the price. Also, upon ordering we had to wait for cesar sald dressing for one main and I had ordered sweet potato fries as my side and was given normal chips. I did point this out and they apologised and gave a small discount but also offered to do the sweet potato still. ( I declined because I'd only have to wait for them to be cooked and was already eating ) Waiting to ask and Pay for he bill took a little long than I wanted so I had to take myself to to bar and ask someone to take my money. ( Personal annoyance. Once you've eaten, you just want to go ) Overall, a decent experience and price point is far too high for what they offer for me to return. I must point out they do have offers on before 5pm that I think is about 20% less in price... so based on that maybe I'd pop back for a bite.

I had a lovely time celebrating the festive season here! The service was spot onβ€”warm greetings and prompt bill delivery made for a great experience. I enjoyed my festive specials, though I wish the steak had been cooked a bit rarer to hit that 5-star mark. The atmosphere was just right, making it feel extra special. Overall, a solid place for a meal, and I'll definitely be back!

Further to my last review. I would consider Wildwood a very calm place to enjoy the company you are with, this time with my daughter. The atmosphere of the welcoming from the staff and of course the delightful warmth of the music and the interior. The warmth of the staff on this occasion, was Dean, who made the whole experience a delight. I again l ordered the mushrooms and stake sandwich. And to my amazement l was not disappointed. My daughter ordered the Chicken salad. The service and presentation where second to non. My daughter was a amazed that her food was, her words "this is outstanding". Probably one of the best stake sandwiches ever! Starter, Baked mushrooms with pesto. The main, Stake sandwiched served between two sourdough slices, with a light crisp lettuce, red onion..with a smear of light mayonnaise...and a drizzle of chilli oil. Excellent food from a very fine restaurant. My appreciation goes to the head chef and staff for a marvellous experience and a fine evening. Even on leaving it was a farewell and hope to see you again service.

Wildwood is a really amazing restaurant located in the Crescent on a Hinckley, we have been going there for years and while we don’t visit as much as we used to, when we do, we are still always impressed with its quality. Their menu is full of great Italian dishes, pizza and calzone are so good there, if you haven’t had a calzone before, try one! Their burgers are also really great and we had a steak there before that was also excellent. Their Phillly Cheesesteak sandwich is also superb, the steak is always cooked to perfection and the bread to meat ratio is always spot on. They also have a great wine selection and their cocktails are also really good, especially the expresso martini. One thing I wish they brought back is the baked Brie starter, it was the best thing ever! They do a Camembert starter now but it’s just not quite the same. The restaurant itself is really inviting and well decorated, it has a really great atmosphere and we have had so many great date nights and family meals there over the years. The staff are always excellent, friendly and attentive and when we were going there more often we got to know a few of them who Willa always welcome us back. Really great restaurant, go check it out, you won’t regret it!

Lovely atmosphere and very helpful courteous staff. Lovely food but fairly small portions, I personally would rather the price go up rather than portions slim down during these expensive energy times. Although I'm probably alone in being happy to pay more. Overall a good choice for a really nice meal.

Food to die for. Would definitely recommend the Calzone. Bread was done to perfection. Also would recommend the cookie dough and brownie. Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice family vibe. Thanks Wildwood for saving our holiday!

Felt good going out, made even better by really nice friendly staff, very helpful as regards the menu. My fiancΓ©e's gluten free and her sister is dairy intolerant, the waitress guided us through the menu and the food was great. Customers were spaced out really well and apparently won't be much different from July 19th. Highly recommend giving this place a visit
