Nice place but don't be fooled by the appearance. Pizza is about as authentic as a one from Iceland disguised with too many toppings leaving the base soggy, risotto was hard as if from a packet, lasagne cold in the middle and pepper corn sauce tasted like gravy with pepper corns in. The owner is about as Italian as my left foot too. If you want pizza, go to Pizza Hut from my experience

We booked online to go for an early dinner around 6pm on a Saturday, but when we arrived our booking hadn't been put on the list. We were still allocated a table, but were next to the door and there was quite a draft every time the door opened so we asked to move. They restaurant was very busy and in addition had a party of 30 with live music upstairs. However, when I explained the situation to Mike (owner) we were instantly looked after and given a different table, which we very much appreciated. The food was excellent, as was the service. The only reason I have given 4 stars for the food is because I found my pizza to be to 'doughy' and was hoping for a really thin crispy Italian pizza - the topping was mainly in the middle so I ended up leaving most of the thick crust. However, everything else was absolutely spot on. One of our party had fillet steak to cook on the stone and said it was the best steak he had eaten (and that's a lot!). Puddings, drinks, liqueur coffees, cocktails and Limon Cello were all delicious and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is beautiful inside with a lovely warm ambience brought about by all the fairy lights which really make the place feel quite magical. We loved it so much we have booked to go again in December for a family birthday.

Lovely place to eat, been here many times. Steak was lovely, scallop starter also great but not very big. Everyone thought the desserts were amazing. Not cheap but great as a treat.

Fantastic evening out - our first visit to Inferno and it was certainly a memorable one. Initially greeted by our host who went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic evening. The food was sublime as was the wine, two of our courses were from the specials board. The interior was lovely and really enjoyed the atmosphere. 100% recommend this restaurant!

First time visiting Inferno Restaurant for my friends wedding anniversary. The overall experience was amazing, from food to atmosphere and the members of staff. Is the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to and I canβt wait to come more in the future and Iβd definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try a proper Italian food! Keep it up, you are doing great!

We visited Inferno last night after my fiancΓ© Claire got a recommendation from their lovely manager Leanne while she was getting her nails done a few weeks ago, as it turns out it was a thoroughly valid recommendation. We have previously stopped into Inferno for drinks as their cocktails, particularly their Expresso Martinis are excellent but we have never been for dinner before, luckily we rectified this mistake. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a warm and cosy feeling and looks like somewhere that you would want to go for a special occasion and some fine dining. We both went for the same starter, the Caprino Al Forno, oven baked goats cheese with caramelised apples, blueberries and a plum sauce to die for. It was exquisite and had a generous serving size however it was also surprisingly light for a cheese starter, which left a nice amount of room for the mains. We both went for gnocchi, I had the meat version and my fiancΓ© had the vegetarian one, they were both excellent, some of the nicest gnocchi we have ever had in an Italian restaurant, everything was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately we were far too full to try any of the desserts but they all sounded lovely, hopefully on another occasion. We also saw people being served the steak and the calamari which also looked very nice, so we may have to try those on our next visit. I canβt remember what the white wine we were drinking was called but it was very nice, fruity and light and went down far too well and was reasonably priced for a restaurant. Now to the staff, we had lots of interactions with them and everyone was uniformly exceptional. We were initially served by the lovely Jolie who took our order and went through the menu with us, we had a nice chat with her and she made us feel welcome and at ease, proper first class service. We were also served by Ewan, he took some of our drinks orders and served us some food, apparently he had only just started working there but you would never know that he was new as his service was without fault, polite, friendly and knowledgeable, exactly what you want from restaurant staff. Then at the end we were given the VIP treatment from the amazing Ali, she helped us settle our bill and even carried our wine glasses to the more informal seating area at the front of the restaurant and had a nice chat with us. This was some some of the best service that we have experienced in a restaurant, all the staff seemed genuinely happy to be working there, this level of service means weβre are certainly going to be visiting again soon and we know that we will be in safe hands with the brilliant team at Inferno. In summary, this restaurant is of the highest quality, the food and drinks are exceptional and their staff are a delight to interact with, highly recommended.

Brilliant food with lovely service. The garlic mushrooms were to die for, and the parpadelle pasta was delicious. My colleagues also loved their dishes. Would definitely come back again!
