Meh overall, been a few times before and normally is great but tonight it really wasn't the best. Rosa our server was a bit too busy doing everything else she could tbh, instead of doing basic things like asking how everything is with our food. For the amount of money your spending when there are other places in town I really would have liked to feel more welcome, and appreciated for going there. Food was at no fault, kudos for the chefs. Left a tip because I work in hospitality myself and now how I will sometimes live of them for a week or so, but would have liked a THANKYOU or even an acknowledgement i left one, instead I got someone stood there looking like they wanted to go home. For a brand with hundreds of locations across the UK I would have liked and appreciated better service especially on a Monday night where the resturant was only about a 1/4 full.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a fantastic experience at ASK Italian in Stratford-upon-Avon. We’d booked a table for 6 at 5 p.m. but turned up two hours early, and the staff were more than happy to accommodate us, which we really appreciated. Using my husband’s Blue Light Card, we got 50% off main meals and managed to feed six people for just over £70 – amazing value! Even without the discount, the prices are very fair for the quality and portion sizes. All the food was absolutely delicious – every plate was cleared, and everyone left happy. I also really enjoyed the pink gin and cocktail I ordered. It made for a wonderful day out celebrating my husband’s birthday. We’ll definitely be back!

I come to this particular branch of Ask Italian fairly regularly and always leave happy so it felt wrong not to have that recognised in a review. Today I came by myself for lunch and I have to say the Lasagne Grande I had was spot on! I was served by Jaden and Maia who were delightful, never skipping a beat and constantly smiling. The atmosphere was also a highlight. Overall a great dining experience! This wasn’t my first time here and it certainly won’t be my last!

The staff here are absolutely lovely polite kind and attentive. Made us feel absolutely welcome and even done little extras to help out as they seen us with kids. The Lady who I assume was in charge (only slightly older than the rest) was especially kind. And to top the food wad amazing empty plates!!!! Thank you all

Nice restaurant, same as every ask but nice. Bit expensive for what it is but it what you expect

Where do I begin... For starters, we ordered the Calamari and Bruschetta. I came in with high hopes just to later be disappointed. The Calamari was frankly tasteless. The only saving grace was the sauce with which it came. It was drowned in oil which caused it to become limp and soggy - not the crunch that I expected. The Bruschetta was similarly bland and soggy. It came on what I believed was a slice of white bread (which did not feel authentic), and the tomatoes were mushy and dull. It was far from traditional. As for the mains, they were equally unsatisfactory. I ordered a Margherita pizza with extra prawns only to later discover that what I thought would be extra was a measly two prawns cut into quarters, mind you this was for an extra two pounds! The pizza base itself was not bad, although a bit doughy, the cheese had a nice bite and the flavour was there. However, the tomato sauce was honestly saddening. In my previous trips to Ask Italians, they have been nothing short of amazing, but perhaps today was not the day. The Spaghetti al Pomodoro had next to no flavour - no salt, no tomato, no nothing. The "Fresh Mozzarella" was the only redeeming quality. Overall, my experience here was subpar. I never thought I would have to say this about Ask Italian but this was a disheartening experience.

Always a good food experience at ASK, cannot fault the quality or service even though they looked a few short on staffing, but the manager was brilliant in making sure we had good food and a laugh to boot. Well done !
