Lovely Mexican restaurant, delicious food and huge quantities! Friendly chef and staff members. Would definitely visit again.
The food was great, but the staff seemed to struggle with the basics. We had a 1 hour 10-minute gap between our starters and mains. We ordered a round of drinks and randomly 1 pint arrived out of 5 drinks and after I asked a second pint arrived and a rum and the other 2 drink never arrived. I believe our table wasn't the only people who was complaining The main issue is this restaurant was too busy serving takeaway orders that the customer in the restaurant just didn't get properly looked after. When our food finally arrive none of us was really bothered it got ate but we was passed it a bit. I get it stuff happens, but better communication. Oh well nevermind.
Eat here on a regular basis, great food, excellent prices and good service. A mix of Mexican and American food with very generous portions so make sure you're hungry when you visit, my wife often has a kids meal and even they're generous portions. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
More than Tex-Mex. They have Cajun, southern fried chicken and Hawaiian dishes on the menu. Not the same Tex-Mex you will get in the Southwest US but enjoyable. Friendly staff.
Difficult premises for me I’m afraid . From the old post office to a burger joint to El Gringos this building has had a lot of renovation over the years. Unfortunately not for the disabled section of the community.The entrance to the premises has still got the large step up into the small foyer that will prohibit wheelchairs from entrance to the business The renovation looks good from the outside and that’s really as far as I can go . Access for everyone else if fine .However I have noticed a small beer garden tucked into the end of the building. Will need to check it out !. There is a bus stop by the town hall . On street parking and an area by town hall .
