   I ordered vegetable rice for delivery. It arrived quickly, but the rice had very little flavour and I found three hairs in the dish, which completely put me off. Also, it was cash only, which was inconvenient. Very disappointed.

   If i could give 0 star i would. Vile, sauce congealed , the “ meat” looked like someone chewed and spat back in dish. I only ordered as my normal restaurant was closed. It definitely reminded me of why i stopped using here years ago

   They kindly prepared a mixed meat chow mein for me, as I am unable to eat prawns and do not care for all the vegetables. It was the most delicious chow mein I have ever tasted. Everything I have had from there has been exceptional, and I want to offer my sincere praise and congratulations to whoever deserves it—well done!

   I'm starting to think the good food I had was the unicorn visit. This review isnt over ONE bad dish. Its over a steady decline of quality and caring over the last 6 months. We wont mention the lack of friendliness or communication while you wait for your order. Because of this I'm dropping my rating from 5 stars to 1 which they have earned over the last 6 months. I've been using this place for a total of 18mo and they were superb at first. Always on the ball and I wouldn't use anywhere else. Even got my friends using them. Every now and again I would get food I didn't recognise as a dish I ordered regularly, almost like a completely change in chef. Over time it was happening more often even to the point I was given completely diff dishes on multiple occasions and when mentioned to the staff, not much care was given. "Oh you got rice instead of noodles in your chow mien last time? ok." Not even a sorry or let us put it right this visit. nada. Last night I ordered two meals. The main dish (House special Curry) which I sat down to eat just after the place had closed and the food was.... I dont know what it was but it wasn't what was ordered. The meat was mostly chicken, another meat which i think was beef, I couldn't tell it was grey in colour and not a lot of it. That was it in the house special, next to zero vegetables, mushrooms or onions. The meal, was not really enjoyable, or edible. I couldn't call and complain as they had closed. The second meal I ordered was ribs. They are still in my fridge untouched. After last night they aren't appealing at all. Last nights experience was the last straw. I wont be using them again. Shame they started out REALLY strong in my book but 6 months of mediocre and wrong dishes, unfortunately they earned the change from from 5 stars down to 1. I'm starting to think the good food was the unicorn visit. Such a shame but I would no longer recommend.

   Always been great however the last two times we've ordered four of us were really unwell afterwards. I put the first time down to a one off as it's never happened before but it's now happened twice. It took 20 minutes from ordering to being delivered so I'm cautious about the quality of the food and cooking now. Also extremely salty recently. Absolutely gutted but won't be ordering again :(

   Now I'm no longer vomiting - Thanks Wok Express you gave me food poisoning for 4 days which almost resulted in hospital admittance - I'm pretty sure it was from the chicken. I will be reporting you to the food standards agency imminently.

   Firstly. Thank you to the owners of this Chinese for being open at this extremely difficult time. Food is exceptional. Salt chilli and garlic chips were exceptional, sweet and sour chicken balls delicious and chow mein and rice were great. Will be back to order again very soon
