Ordered the salt and pepper wings with chips and really enjoyed them, great flavour and cooked well. The shop is cash only, but it’s clean, the service is friendly, and the food is good quality.
The worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had. One of the dishes was chicken curry with chips. My wife had another dish which was also with chips. Over an hour for delivery, all the food was cold, chips were soggy and dry. The "chicken" was most definitely not chicken, it was like trying to chew leather. Both my wife and I had sickness and stomach ache all the following day. Stay away. It will be very interesting to see it's Scores on the doors rating when the inspection has taken place!
Used to order from here years ago.. food was nice. However last time i ordered from uber eats jt was atrocious… the wings and chips werent even fresh! Rock hard like theyve reheated it. To top it off when i called to complain the receptionist woman was so condescending saying it was fresh!! To hell it was fresh!! Disgusting food and disgusting attitude! DO NOT ORDER!!!!
Food was stale, the meats in the special chow mein were hard and dry, cantonese sweet and sour chicken was undercooked, egg fried rice had a strong tangy taste and smell to it and salt and pepper king prawns and chips were drenched in oil that smelled and tasted like it had been fried in dirty oil.. large salt and pepper wings and chips were missing.. couldnt eat it after having a couple bites.. and to top it all off i ended up with food poisoning the very next day and my children were sick too. Was a £70 order, ordered 2 of everything for the family.. i ordered it 2 weeks prior and it was lovely but this time was a massive let down! Never again!
I got two dishes one was the prawns and rice (very tasty). The other was chicken noodles and they were just OK but my brother ate them anyway. The soup was just what I needed cos I was sick, it was perfect. Super affordable too with good portion sizes. I didn't order on any app I just went in and it was fine in my experience. Only 15 mins waiting time like he told me.
We visited this place after almost 7 years. They have made some changes to the decor which was nice. Service was non existent, we were asked to sit and the lady on the counter completely forgot about us. We ordered Sizzler, Schewan chicken, chow min noodles and everything was spot on. Food still tastes the same. Will i come back again - most probably not for dine in. Food is awesome so will order takeout.
Absolutely appalling customer service. I ordered via uber-eats and my order never came! We called them multiple times with no response. I will say i have eaten here before and the food is pretty good. But i cannot ignore this.
Fair to say that the service provided by this place has progressively worsened over time. Food arrived 2 hours late - (ordered at 20:17, arrived at 22:09). Every time i called the restaurant to see where the food was, the person over the phone was dragging it out by saying 15 mins, then 5 mins, then 2 mins. Additionally, they put the phone down on me while i was asking a question. Then the food arrived cold. Furthermore, i received 2 regular portions rather than 2 large portions, of S+P wings and chips, so was also ripped off too (bearing in mind i’ve been ordering from this place for at least 5 years). It’s understandable that it is busy but why lie and provide a time that you can’t keep? Complete lack of consideration for your customers, only focused on money, not the quality of your service or food. You all still have a lot to learn business-wise…
Food was a bit late but not ridiculous or anything, called in and owner was super nice about it :) food was OK, the soft noodles are served with soy sauce and vegetables (super nice but portion size is a but small for them.) Satay was good but not very nutty. Spring rolls a bit burned. Thai curry was really really good!!! :D For the price, service and good is pretty good. I think the restaurant took some of recent bad feedback on board :)
Absolutely vile! The ribs were disgusting, chips tasted like they had been reheated (hard and dry) curry sauce was like water! Even my cat wouldn't eat it! When I complained they refused to give me a refund! STAY WELL AWAY! not even worth 1 star!!
