Absolutely love Xing Ying! The food is consistently tasty and arrives quickly. Favourites like crispy shredded beef and chicken fried rice never disappoint. Staff are polite and helpful, and the menu has a great variety. Definitely one of the best local takeaways for a comforting Chinese meal!
I recently tried Xingying Chinese Takeaway and was genuinely impressed. The food was fresh, flavourful, and arrived piping hot—exactly what you want from a good Chinese spot. The Salt & Pepper Chicken was perfectly crispy with just the right kick, and the Sweet & Sour King Prawns were generous in portion and absolutely delicious. I also really liked their Singapore Noodles—spicy, well-balanced, and full of veggies and meat. Service was quick and friendly, and everything was packed neatly. You can tell they care about quality. Great value for money too, with large portions and reasonable prices. Definitely one of the better Chinese takeaways in the area. Will be ordering again soon. Highly recommend Xingying if you’re craving a tasty and reliable Chinese meal!

Ordered food from here earlier today. Service was quick however we ordered chicken fried rice, curry sauce, Spring rolls, Chips fried rice and curry sauce meal and Salt n pepper chicken pieces. At first we thought we had eaten too much but soon after my sister threw up and we both haven't felt right since. The curry sauce was greasy and everything else was warm felt as though it had been warmed up instead of being cooked fresh. Depending what you get I wouldn't recommend the curry sauce as we think that's what made us feel like this.
Appaling service and cold food. The delivery driver supposedly arrived but never left his car to check door numbers or knock and never attempted to call on the mobile number provided. If we hadn't called after nearly 2 hours, we would never have received our food or any notification of a failed delivery. On speaking to the restaurant, they were completely unapologetic. The order was finally re-delivered some 2 hours 30 minutes after initially ordering and was cold on arrival. Stay away!

Best chineese In Halifax. I recommend the hot sour soup, pancake rolls, and thr salt pepper chicken wings are all exquisite. The soup is by far My favourite. 10/10
A customer since 2005 and sorry to say no more. We found a cooked woolice still with legs on in the chips. Absolutely duscusting . After been sick we will not go again and has put us off all delivery food. Home cooked from now on.
Food was on point, never had anything bad from here. Always top notch, full of flavour and fresh.
We are getting ripped off in this country. Here's a local example. Beef curry + chips + boiled rice. From Xin Ying £15.70 From Birds Nest. £10. Xin Ying chips and boiled rice £3.60 each. Birds Nest chips £1.80 Boiled rice £2. Overall Xin Ying was £5.70 dearer than Birds Nest for the same meal which also included £0.50 service charge + £0.10 for the bag the food came in. All's fair eh!?
