Visited 30/11/25. We sat in outside seating and ordered one soup, two sandwiches and tea. Served a pot of lukewarm tea. Nearly 45 minutes later still no food. Not once did anyone come to us to explain why the wait was so long. We cancelled our food order, as did the table next to us.shocking service. Will not go back.
Lovely cafe in Westgate nr the Piece Hall in Halifax. Seating upstairs as well as downstairs. Fabulous food, I've been twice now and each time the food was delicious, especially the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. I can also recommend the halloumi burger with fries. The staff are helpful and friendly and Luke, the chef, is great. I definitely recommend you try it.
Great little cafe on Westgate. Very friendly staff, great food, we both had a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel together with a couple of mulled wine's, which were excellent, the part owner, in the photo, certainly knew his stuff as he told us all about the mulled wine, but he did tell us that he used to specialise in cocktails. Sorry about the half eaten bagel, I forgot to take a photo until later. Definitely worth a call.
Staff were very nice, was willing to have a nice chat. I didn’t get names but the staff around 5pm Saturday 6th July, were generally very nice. The Boar Burger was delicious and my Grandma really enjoyed her pulled pork burger. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.
The New Owners are doing brilliant, If you fancy BRUNCH this is were to go, food is very well presented, Egg lovers will not be dissapointed with a selection of Egg dishes along with other tasty dishes... Very Clean and friendly, Cinnammon has 2 floors you won't be dissapointed
Best brunch in town, owners are great never fail to Amaze. They're staff always on top form and service with a smile. We'll done Guys you have my vote
Called in for drinks and food. Somebody had just left a table so we sat down, staff did not come and remove dirty cups for 10 minutes and then didn’t bother to wipe the table. There were 4 of us. Someone came to take our order and walked off after only taking 3 drinks orders, had to go ask for the 4th drink. Drinks eventually came and there were only 3 drinks, so again had to ask for 4th drink. The 3 drinks that were brought to the table were all large when we didn’t ask for large. The 4th drink that came was supposed to be a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and was just a hot chocolate. Someone came over 25 minutes after we had sat down and then asked if we wanted to order food! Kindly declined after such poor service with the drinks and the length of time taken. It is also very expensive compared to other cafes close by. Will not be visting again.
Downstairs was full, so we sat upstairs. As the first there it was a bit chilly, but It soon filled up. Plenty Gf options, but pie of the day was Shepherds pie. So my desire for pastry and chips wasn't met, still tasty though. My partners chicken kebab looked amazing and was a lot bigger than she'd expected
I was in a hurry to grab a quick lunch. I had a very good coffee and a tuna and cucumber sandwich that I really enjoyed it. The staff was very efficient and quick. Definitely, I will be back.
