   Run by a friendly and knowledgeable couple. Food is really nice and good size portions. Basic decor, more adventurous cuisine and surroundings in bigger cities I guess, but get you what you pay for, as ever.

   Found this gem when looking for somewhere to go Called in on a Saturday night without a booking and we’re very lucky to get a table Went for all you could eat option which you pick from the menu and the food is cooked and served fresh to you table, so you know it hasn’t been sat there being kept warm from hours like a buffet Food was all served piping hot The staff were all lovely and very attentive, asked before taking plates, checked if we wanted to reorder any food or drinks and to say it was a busy Saturday night they didn’t stop but were so pleasant Will be back again

   Incredible! The staff here are so lovely, the all you can eat is so so well priced at 21 pounds per person and its not a buffet, its all cooked fresh to order, the beef was perfectly tender, not even a single piece was chewy and all of the food was absolutely delicious. No wonder its reservation only.

   Went to Royal City, all you can eat, with the in- laws, and was very satisfied. We did book a table but I am sure we would have been seated even if we hadn't. We tried a good portion of the starters and even ordered some more won ton. We had king prawn curry, (which I think was shrimp curry) which was very enjoyable, also beef in black bean and chicken in oyster sauce. Fried rice, noodles, garlic mushrooms and vegetables. And everything was very well prepared and tasted very nice. We left very full and happy, will return.

   I've been going to Royal City for years... haven't done a review for a long time. This place is fantastic. A family run place ... incredibly lovely staff..fab food..very clean and tidy. Always have a great evening when I go...have gone with small and large parties of people and staff are just so good and helpful. Thanks #teamroyalcity ☺️

   The menu was £17per head eat what you want. Not a buffet, you order the food and it is cooked and brought out to you, and it was all very tasty. Friendly and attentive staff too.

   Nice friendly staff, nice atmosphere buffet style menu. Order your starters until your ready to move onto the main. Order your mains until your stuffed. The best thing is that all the food is cooked freshly and not stood for ages like in a normal style buffet restaurant. And all for £12.50 but they do close at 9pm so be early and we'll worth a visit
