This the best Chinese takeaway I’ve been to in years - the chef is a genius - food is delicious and the people who serve at the till are always brilliant and give amazing customer service.
We try other Chinese take outs, but always come back to China garden, their sweet and sour sauce is lovely. The chicken and vegetables are very tasty with lots of different veg, which is great when your trying to loose weight but want a little treat. Beef and mushroom curry is nice with big chunky mushrooms, and the 2 x big spring rolls are tasty with a nice crunch, enjoy ☺️
Ordered off uber eats, to see if the chicken balls hit the same as they did when I came here as a kid, and it did not disappoint. The ratio to chicken and batter is perfect, the spicy rice unblocked my nose so thank you for that like literally I needed it. The chips were perfectly cooked, not too burnt and not too undercooked. I recommend this place to a friend for sure, as it’s nostalgic.
The dry, fatty pasta tasted as if it had been reheated from yesterday. The order was delivered by Uber on October 11th. It was a pretty big order. I was just passing by after dropping a friend home so I nipped into China Garden for a late dinner , I ordered chicken balls in batter with curry sauce and chips so I could eat while driving. It was red hot and good portions except the curry sauce was the smallest portion I've ever had from a Chinese. The chicken balls are a good size I couldn't eat them all and saved five in my fridge to reheat in my air fryer the next day. The chips were nice and a good portion. I will definitely use this Chinese again when in the area. It's unusual for a Chinese takeaway to be in such a lovely old building, it's lovely inside. Recommended.
Ordered chicken chow main where the noddles was over cooked and dry with hardly no soya sauce must have been microwaved had no taste to it absolutely disgusting. Egg fried rice tasted old and microwaved nothing fresh about egg fried rice. Chicken with sweet and sour balls was only thing that taste fresh. Overall experience Food didn’t taste good at all very disappointed with my Saturday night takeaway. Waste of £20 not ever going order food from here again Most of the food went into the bin!

1 Star is too much. Absolutely Awful food. Cold, soggy and no taste. The worst experience I ever had on Just eat or any other Takeaway. They should not be open!
I was feeling nice and healthy before eating from this place Within a hour I was violently being sick Something wasn't right The app claimed the food will arrive in 45-50mins It arrived in 15mins and its about a 10min drive to my house Uber eats didn't recognise it had been delivered so soon This food wasn't prepared correct I was in bed for 2 days unable to do anything other then be sick 5 days on I'm still weak and lost 1 stone in weight Do not eat from this place
Horrible food don't eat there you may feel sick. Sounds Legend authentic takeaway good. but every time I've ordered. They seem to understand what you want but they send you something completely rubbish. You might as well empty the bins your next door neighbour's house and eat their food left over from 300 days ago
