    I have been going to the Phonlik House for roughly 25 years and it is still, to this day, the absolute best meal going. I now live in London, but every time I come back to Solihull I insist on ordering a meal from this restaurant. The people who run the place are wonderful, and the food is always fantastic. I have eaten at some excellent restaurants all over the world, but I’ve always considered the Phonlik House to be my favourite place to go. This is a brilliant restaurant with great service. A local legend. Just eat here and love it!

    Sat 17 December 22 place was empty food and restaurant both cold sat there in my overcoat , after 10 min decided to Leave as did the 4 other people who arrived after us , then got a load of of insults from waiter telling me I could take the food home and reheat it ?? Never ever again, whatever it was in the past as gone , terrible food and atmosphere

    Friendly people, tasty food, huge portions! The only thing stopping it getting five stars was that it was a bit cold, with energy costs as they are now I wouldn't be surprised if that becomes the norm in many places.

    Dined here many times, same friendly staff. We enjoyed a two course meal, a large wine was £6.90. Bill for two of us was just under fifty quid, made me ponder for a while.

    Very welcoming and friendly service. All the food was delicious and good sized portions too. They seem to have a lot of regulars which says a lot and they were doing plenty of takeaway meals too. We will go back :)
