   I’ve been coming here since the early days, and when Bage Kitchen first opened it stood out — every dish had its own flavour, balance, and character. Sadly, over time it feels like the menu has lived up to the name a little too literally. Now, most dishes seem to come from the same base gravy, with gelatinous textures creeping into soups and sauces. The result is that everything tastes too similar and often too sweet, losing the uniqueness that once made this place special. It’s a shame, because I know the kitchen is capable of so much more. If they brought back that original spark — the variety, the freshness, the boldness — Bage Kitchen could shine again instead of becoming just another generic takeaway.

   If I could leave zero stars I would! Ordered a box meal, chicken balls, rice and chips and curry sauce. Had exactly 10 chips, mushy rice that resembled rice pudding! Curry sauce was like jelly and even had powder in it as it weren’t mixed properly! None of the food was fresh, it was definitely reheated. The most dry and disgusting chicken balls and chips I’ve ever had! Also the rice was all stuck together and mushy. Absolutely disgusting how they can charge £9 for that! Certainly was NIR fresh food! Avoid at all costs

   We had to pay extra for the driver to return to my address, even though he ADMITTED that he DIDN'T TRY THE BUZZER! When the delivery driver rings the code number he's given, it just goes dead, so we don't get the call. (We know this because he did it in front of me when he came the 2nd time). This keeps happening. We will be returning to WOK U LKE for our chinese food.

   Ordered from here a few times now and the food is usually hot and fresh! Had the odd occasion when a dish hasn’t been up to their usual standard (most recently the satay skewers). We’ve also had it where we’ve asked for a single dish to be plain, which has then resulted in every dish on the order being plain so just make sure the order notes are clear and concise. Apart from that, the dishes have been tasty and we’re not the closest and they always deliver quickly!

   Delicious quality Chinese food with limited options of Halal only in chicken. The Singaporean rice are fantastic and the food is much recommended overall with generous portions of serving.

   Absolutely beautiful meals. Arrived boiling hot and quickly. Will be using again. Had another order delivered and not up to usual standard. Food was so bland and the special fried rice was overcooked. Not nice at all. Update. Got to be honest not had a bad meal since. Beautiful food and staff are so friendly. Won't get my Chinese anywhere but here.

   Normally order from here but latley food has gone down hill, chicken balls stodgy, batter not cooked despite asking for them to be fried longer, king prawn curry, the sauce was like water, obviously not thickened as the next morining chinese sauces become like jelly, prawn crackers stale, chips were overcooked, this must have been the last order they did before closing,tried to call back no answer, emailed Just Eat to complain, they have refunded the meal, dont bother to oder from gone way down hill

   Lovely little take away, decor bit shabby but food excellent. Lovely chunks of meat with plenty of flavour. Chicken balls had large tasty & juicy) pieces of chicken (not fatty or dry). Great will go again next time we are in Cardiff.
